I have a really good undergraduate physics major in his 3rd year. He's been working with me for most of the academic year on physics-of-baseball stuff. He'd love to have a summer internship with an MLB club. DM me if you are interested in learning more.

Radiation ☢️ session number 5... had surgery to put in feeding tube this morning, then got fluids since I am losing ability to swallow, then started radiation week #2. Chemo was pushed back until tomorrow. But I’m still alive & finding love and joy in every day I’m here! – at Champaign, IL

This is something that can’t be stressed enough. Lessons are for learning and improving the effectiveness of the work you do on your own. Or, preferably, with a teammate(s) or a workout partner. – at Champaign, IL

An hour lesson, once per week informs you what to work on. There are another 167 hours in the week to make time to work on it. 167-1 is a butt-kicking in either direction you choose.

This is the part of @IlliniAD hire that really excites me & gives me hope. CBB is a lineman at heart & THAT is where the game is won! Fans & media discuss 🏈 like it’s a 2 person show (HC & QB)...but @IlliniFootball has been getting destroyed at the line for decades. I-L-L! – at Champaign, IL

From someone I talked today who worked with Bielema: “Bret’s players genuinely like him. Especially linemen. Players coach.” I’m told he reserves the first class seats on flights for the big guys, not donors or staff. “ He takes care of the beef.” I think that’s pretty cool.

Akron RHP @conorsteinbaugh in a nice light effort pen. Flipping a few change ups over at the end. For reference, average ML CH on trackman averages 7.6VB and 13.6HB for RHP, so creating pretty elite sink and bore right here.

Young baseball players, please listen to this advice...Let your arm be the boss! One of my biggest frustrations as a coach & trainer is not being able to convince kids to throw enough, or at a high enough intensity. Want to be a good ⚾️ player? Throw a lot & listen to ur arm! – at Champaign, IL
