ai agent traffic grew 7,851% year over year (HUMAN's 2026 state of ai traffic report). most dashboards still file all of it under "human." every chart you trust - signups, engagement, conversion - is quietly a blended metric now

"as an mit alum, a lot of us have this sort of perfectionist nature. in the startup world, you can't be a perfectionist - you just have to move quick." - @CTewey, ceo of keythorn (speedrun-backed insurance for ai)

enterprise buyers are starting to ask every saas vendor the same question: how does your product handle agents, and what do you charge for it? i've been talking to teams about this for weeks. most have no answer yet. the ones who do are about to eat the ones who don't

robots are already using your website - just not the way you designed for. your stack files "bot you should block" and "agent who might pay you" under the same label. that gap is where the next pricing fights happen

people ask what @speedrun is actually worth. it's not the money. @CTewey agrees - it's the people: 86 companies on the same 12-week clock, and a demo day deadline that forces real progress every week. the check clears once. the people clear every day 💯

This is a big enough problem that there's not just one startup idea here, but several. For example, there will probably be one variant meant to filter out agents, but another meant to welcome them in an orderly way. This also seems an idea you could build more on.

Bot detection & human verification will be one of the most urgent demands for businesses over the coming years. Agent swarms will suffocate every website and form; small companies and government websites are most vulnerable. There is a huge gap in the market for this right now. When we looked at what offerings were in the market to use at X, there was not a single company that brought together all the latest technologies so we had to do it all in-house.

Here's the right approach to solving AI alignment. Extrinsic methods like reinforcement learning are bound to fail, either banally or catastrophically. The path forward is one we already know from human learning: aim at values that can be internalized, not imposed. What it takes is the moral imagination to respect our creations, and the technical unlock of interactive learning to let them direct their own growth. We've been heads down on this for 10 months. Excited to finally share what we've been building. We raised from a16z @speedrun , @tuskventures , and @MontaukCC to build @onegc_ai : the first platform that runs legal for you. Here's why 👇
