NEW: We assume Woodland Road Estate on Gipsy Hill was built with a large garden because the flats were in towers. Now Developer @lb_southwark is making the estate less liveable by building on their garden. If only this were the only estate to lose.l @playingout @OllieWainwright

1 in 24 homes in Southwark sit empty. 1000s of new homes for private development have planning permission (adding to no. of empty homes). Yet depriving vulnerable communities of their green & play space is @lb_southwark only solution to the housing crisis. Really?! #savebells

After speaking to yet more neighbours it turns out there are now more than 72 homes that are being kept empty on @CentralHillEst1! This tactic of keeping #EmptyHomes by @lambeth_council & @homeforlambeth is trying to destroy the community.... but residents are coming together!
