I love using @CloudflareDev Workers with @RealWebPageTest to experiment with #WebPerf optimisations.
This page's LCP could be 10s faster and FCP 3s faster at 3G with some simple tweaks 😱

Planning on fixing your CLS before it hits the Google search algorithm in May?
Do yourself a favor and grab a Cloudflare Worker for rapid prototyping against your live site. Add WebPageTest and you've got a fast way to experiment with fixes before touching prod.

Agree we should not be using first few scans as the majority of the image is rendered. Would also like scan rendering info availble from Chrome even if has to be same origin/CORS for now.

On 23 April I enabled @Cloudflare’s Mirage and Polish image-optimisation services (page-load spike because I had to purge entire image edge cache). Load times down 1s on average ever since.
Thank you @sandraupson for telling this sad story. He was and still is a major reason I work at Cloudflare.

Workers now has a streaming HTML modification API. Previously you had to parse the whole DOM (using a pure-JS library), modify, and serialize again. Our streaming API only invokes JavaScript for the elements you want to change and streams the rest through. blog.cloudflare.com/html-rew…
