The importance of the domain niche!!
Those who lack capital or are beginners cannot make a lot of money in the domain industry in the usual way.
Domain experts have already owned good domains for over 20 years and are steadily purchasing good domains.
If you're investing in a domain the normal way, it's better not to start.
It's better to find another job before you lose any more money.
‘Domain investment is easy to start, but not everyone succeeds.’
Ask yourself:
Do you have faster information than others?
Do you have professional know-how?
Do you have enough funds?
People with limited capital or beginners cannot beat them.
If you want to make money by investing in domains, you need to find new ways with different ideas.
Various niche marketing methods;
Buy a regular domain cheaply.
Developing niche domain extensions.
Future industries.
etc.
You can develop your own hybrid niche market.
To facilitate understanding of the importance of a domain's niche
I will explain with actual examples how I have targeted niche markets in the past.
It was about 15 years ago.
This period was the hottest period for domains.
At this time, there was no need to worry about renewal costs because the domain PPC unit price was high and PPC parking was profitable.
My regular domains were less than 1,000.
I tried to find a new niche in the domain.
The niche I tried was bringing marketing to domain PPC.
So, we introduced search engine search marketing (SEO) and search engine advertising marketing to the domain.
We couldn't use Google ads because the advertising cost was high and we incurred huge losses.
The niche market that was discovered after numerous trials and errors was
The goal was to advertise keywords with good traffic quality that large companies did not advertise.
My idea was to advertise keyword typos or domain typos in Super Keywords.
I was so knowledgeable in this field that I held a BM patent.
For example;
Airline Ticket --> Airline Tickat , Airlin Ticket, Airline Tiket...
Hotel. com, Hotels..com, Airlines. cm (no cm domains in the past), Hotels.ccom
etc
If the Airline Ticket keyword advertising cost is $20, the keyword advertising cost I used was less than $0.3.
The advertising price was very low, but the traffic quality was the same.
Few companies advertised these keywords, so they were exposed alone in Google search results, so the click-through rate was quite high.
So I was able to survive the competition with Airlines, which paid $20 per click for advertising.
American Airlines
Delta Air Lines
United Airlines
Southwest Airlines
Using this method, I advertised on hundreds of thousands of keywords in all profitable fields (Travel, Banking, Dating...).
At its peak, advertising expenses reached $300,000 per month, sales reached $600,000 per month, and net profits reached $300,000 per month.
I purchased about 200 good domains with the profits I earned at that time.
The total purchase cost was approximately $300,000.
That was the heyday of my business.
All the good domains I have now were domains I purchased from others at the time.
I started with a domain, but added marketing to it, and even in the advertising market, which is generally unprofitable, I targeted a niche market and made a profit by competing with large corporations in advertising.
If you want to succeed in the domain, you must constantly research and challenge yourself to find your own niche.
You must use the lessons learned from failure to develop further and find your own niche.
No one else will tell you the important niche market.
This is because once your niche market is revealed, the other person becomes your biggest competitor.

❤️ Honesty shouldn’t be confused with rudeness, but the one thing the domain industry is missing is some honesty for people who register terrible names over and over and over. I know the registrars don’t want this, but the small guy who’s (spending his money on names that don’t make) who sense loses out. If you’ve had some success or have experience, it’s better to help people with more direct feedback:
🫥 incorrect spelling
🫥 trademark issues
🫥 Misaligned two words
🫥 avoid XYZ unless very strong single word
🫥 don’t copy a sale you’ve just seen
Etc etc etc.
Your domain name is your brand's hello.
A unique, brandable domain name is the key to first impressions and to standing out from the crowd.

I think this is unhelpful to new domain investors starting out. It is very easy to lose money in XYZ and io. Look very very carefully at what actually SELLS aim io and XYZ before you venture. Com is considerably safer, especially good closeouts or previously owned names
Acquired Pletix .com 2 months ago and it’s now popular on Dan. com
Great name for an IT company, a saas, of any other technology venture.
