If you're right, any woman with PPD or PPS should have their children removed from the home-- afterall, according to you, they're capable of the most horrific crimes. Six doctors and three expert witnesses said Lindsey Clancy did not have postpartum psychosis. She barely had any medication in her system. She planned with malice aforethought to murder her three children. She calmly arranged for their father to be gone—she knew what she planned was wrong and that he would stop her, so she arranged for him to be out of the house. She did not murder them impulsively in a psychotic fog; she went child to child, stalking them down like Michael Myers, or worse, inviting them in for a hug, then holding them in her vice-like grip,wrapping exercise bands around each little neck, shoving their little faces into the carpet, and violently and coldly pulling for 3-5 minutes each child until their little body stopped fighting. She then moved on to the next terrified, confused little face and repeated her murderous actions, while, like a bog witch croaking out, "Go to God." She had the wherewithal to manage to return a call to their father between murders--the person most likely to interrupt her evil rampage--and pretend everything was okay. She calmly answered his questions about medications to keep him from coming home too soon and stopping her. One does not pause a psychotic event to talk rationally on the phone about generic vs. name-brand prescriptions. She hung up, and like a snake, sought out her next victim. Baby Callan was strangled so hard he had traumatic brain injury, and part of his brain was squeezed down into his spinal column. I'm not even convinced of her suicide attempt. She was decidedly less enthusiastic about it than the murders. This medical professional and labor and delivery nurse only managed superficial wounds in her attempt to kill herself. If she thought lowering herself out the window would end in death, why didn't she just throw the children out the window? It would have been faster. The fact that there are people who think she shouldn't face justice is nauseating. Her slimy lawyer is as reptilian as she is. Anyone else defending her has no business making decisions that affect other people; in fact, they should have their own children removed from the home. Lindsey Clancy is NOT a victim; her children are.
