🚨 CPR IS NOT THE SAME FOR EVERY AGE GROUP!
The technique used for an adult can be different from that required for a child or an infant. 🫀
👨 Adult: Two hands, one over the other.
🧒 Child: One or two hands, depending on the child’s size.
👶 Infant: Use the recommended infant-specific compression technique.
The correct compression depth, hand placement, and technique matter when every second counts.
⚠️ CPR is not about applying maximum force. It’s about delivering effective compressions safely.
Learn the difference. It could help you save a life. ❤️🩹

Stages of cervical dilation during labor 👶🏼
During childbirth, the cervix must dilate to about 10 cm (4 inches) to allow the baby to pass through. The cervix gradually opens and thins as labor progresses, sometimes over many hours. Meanwhile, the uterus contracts in a coordinated rhythm, helping the cervix dilate and moving the baby down the birth canal.
10 centimeters might not sound like much… but what are your thoughts after seeing this visual representation? 🤯
