It's very rare I pre-order a book months in advance but I'm really looking forward to this arriving and know it will be useful at work. I've been following Ros since the first incarnation of Outside Source on @bbcworldservice Radio and he's clearly the master to learn from.
Well, no going back. The Art of Explanation is out! Every day, we all have moments - big and small - where how well we communicate really matters. This book is about how we can take on those moments. Fingers crossed, you'll like it. Available here: geni.us/TAOEBOOK

Two lovely summits in the Spanish Pyrenees activated today: EA2/NV-021 and 023. Sadly fog prevented me from doing the third hill I had planned.

First SOTA summit for this trip done. F/PO-245 Xoldoko Gaina. I last did this hill in 2019 but today's walk was longer as I started at Hendaye train station. The forecast storms didn't arrive at least. – at Hendaye, France

This is a fantastic opportunity. I was lucky enough to look around Baldock several years ago.

I'm now a goat! 🐐 Earlier today I did a #hamr Summits on the Air activation of GW/SW-041 Black Mountain, which took me over 1000 SOTA points, meaning I now qualify for the Mountain Goat award. Thanks to everyone I've contacted over the years.

Great to see Montserrat on @channel5_tv at the moment. I was lucky enough to go into the exclusion zone 5 years ago and it's a very unusual place.

This is very impressive. Thanks for sharing @daniel_rothig
Everyone's talking about how ChatGPT can write code, but can it do the job of a Principal Engineer? I interviewed it for the role to find out. Absolutely fascinating (and a bit terrifying) what it came up with. daniel-rothig.medium.com/an-…
