Carney’s pitch: EU good. Trump bad. Greek MEP Afroditi Latinopoulou has a very different assessment of the EU leadership. Addressing European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in Strasbourg: “Ms von der Leyen, there is no greater racist against Europeans than you.” “You flooded us with illegal migrants.” “You suffocated us with taxes and bureaucracy.” “You crushed our farmers, livestock breeders and fishermen.” “You are shutting down Europe’s factories costing hundreds of thousands of jobs.” “You destroyed the nuclear family.” “You impose on us the Woke agenda. The Green Madness. The Islamisation of Europe.” And then she turns to the scandals: “Mired in scandals with serious allegations of corruption. Pfizergate. Missing messages and refusal to submit to scrutiny.” Her closing verdict: “Ms. von der Leyen, you have devastated us!” This is the leadership Carney wants Canada closer to. Canadians should listen to the complaints before swallowing the sales pitch.

163 CHILDREN RESCUED. SIX DAYS OF SILENCE. Not even 30 damn seconds from major news media. But a lake gets its name changed? BREAKING NEWS. Don’t preach to me about “saving the children” when 163 rescued kids aren’t even worth 30 seconds of your airtime. Your silence says everything.

Mark Carney and fellow globalists used the G20 to push plans that tap private savings and war spending to bankroll their green reset and centralized control. Canadians and others should reject this erosion of sovereignty and demand leaders who defend national wealth instead of surrendering it to international schemes.

Canadians need to understand what actually happened with the U.S. trade fight. Most countries facing Trump’s tariffs sat down early, negotiated quietly, and protected their market access. Mexico did this from day one. They absorbed the insults, made targeted concessions, kept talking, and today about 85% of their exports still enter the U.S. tariff-free. They never turned it into a domestic political show. Canada and China were the outliers. We chose visible retaliation and “Elbows Up” campaigning instead of early, serious negotiation. Steel and aluminum timeline: • March 2025: U.S. hits us with 25%. We retaliate. • June 2025: U.S. raises it to 50%. We don’t match it. • Fourteen months of rhetoric, ads, photo-ops, and delayed serious talks later: the rate is reportedly heading back toward 25%. That’s not a victory. That’s a long, expensive trip back to where the problem started — after jobs were lost, businesses strained, plants hesitated to invest, and taxpayers propped up industries. The Liberals ran on the image of the only people who could stand up to Trump. Early quiet deals would have looked like weakness to their base. So they prolonged the fight for political optics, framed it as crisis management, and only shifted to “stick-handling” once the economic damage became politically costly. Mexico treated the United States as its biggest customer and negotiated accordingly. Ottawa treated the dispute as a campaign stage. Result: we absorbed more pain, burned more time, and are now bargaining from a weaker position. Returning to “Ground Zero” after all that damage is not parity. It’s a net loss. You don’t win trade wars with press conferences and slogans. You win them at the table — early, pragmatically, and without turning your own workers into collateral for domestic messaging. That’s what happened. Canadians deserved better than a year of theatre followed by managed retreat.

This is a brilliant take by a guy I used to ignore. He’s spot on about the SDA and communism. It’s a bit long but is well worth the watch.

Well, this Carney performance review came out this week so CBC got the memo from the PMO to redirect the narrative and attack Poilievre - who has not part in governing Canada. His only role is to hold Carney and his government accountable.

🇬🇧 THEY TOLD YOU A STORY. 🇬🇧 Colonisers. Slavers. Oppressors. And you were supposed to feel ashamed. Not for what you done... But for WHO YOU ARE. 🇬🇧 So we tested it. Britain wrote everything down, so we opened the books. 📖 Turns out fewer than 1 man in 10 could vote in the year Britain banned the slave trade. No woman could. Your ancestors could hang for stealing a sheep, get shipped across the world for petty theft, or go down a mine at 8 years old. In Manchester, the average age of death in a labouring family was 17. They weren't running the slave trade. They were underneath it too. Which is what makes what happened next worth knowing. In 1772 an enslaved man named James Somerset walked free from an English court, because English law couldn't hold a slave. In 1791, 300,000 families just stopped buying slave sugar. No march, no riot, just a decision made at 300,000 kitchen tables. In 1792, 519 petitions carrying 390,000 names hit Parliament, most signed by people who couldn't vote themselves. In 1807, Britain banned the trade. Then the slave owners sent Britain a bill for the 800,000 people they still held. 💷 £20 million. About 40% of the entire government budget at the time. The Treasury says it wasn't paid off until 2015. So if your family paid British tax before then, they helped buy 800,000 people their freedom. From 1808 the Royal Navy spent 60 years hunting slave ships at sea: 1,600 stopped, 150,000 people freed, and 1,600 British sailors dead, mostly of disease, buried thousands of miles from home. ⚓ In 1816 they ended two centuries of Barbary corsairs enslaving Europeans. In 1896 a war that lasted 38 minutes ended slavery in Zanzibar. 🇹🇿 Almost every country on Earth outlaws slavery today. That fight was paid for largely at British expense, by British hands.🇬🇧 So why haven't you heard any of this? Because within living memory, someone rewrote the story. You got taught the crime. Not the cure. The powerful exploited the world. They exploited their own people first. It was those people who ended slavery. 🇬🇧 ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ History got rewritten once, in living memory, by no one who was ever named or held to account. We are ordinary people doing what ordinary people have always done. Opening the books. Refusing to look away. This is how we fight back. Fact by fact. Story by story. Name by name. We are the home of British heroes. There is a place for you in it. If you can afford to support what we do: proudofus.co.uk/support Be part of us. ☝️🇬🇧 Be Proud Of Us. 🙏🇬🇧

🔵 Millions of Americans regularly use AI tools like ChatGPT and Gemini as a first stop for health questions related to colds, cancer, and beyond. Five AIs, 250 questions and a total score of just over 50 percent correct responses. And 1 in 5 of the ones that were wrong were dangerous. This is a common impression from international travellers leaving @dave_eby's Vancouver You can't street sweep away the mess you have caused over years, Premier
American tourists visiting Vancouver for the FIFA World Cup praised the stadium, the food and the people but said the one thing that will stick with them the most was something nobody warned them about. After booking a cheap Airbnb in Chinatown steps from BC Place they described what they saw as “like World War Z with zombies walking all over the place” with open fentanyl use, people shooting up with needles and even came across someone outside a coffee shop they had to check for a pulse 😳 “The government does absolutely nothing about it” Is this the lasting impression Vancouver wants to leave on the world stage? 🤔💭

@ElizabethMay. Is this true? I am shocked and appalled. Is Canada going to lose more of its manufacturing due to Net Zero policies. I see Bosch , a famous German manufacturer is leaving mainly due to energy costs.

The Speaker invited Reann Gasper, MLA for Abbotsford-Mission, to open the BC Legislature with a “prayer or reflection.” She chose to sing: “Praise God from whom all blessings flow.” Beautiful. The same people who tolerate endless political theatre will somehow melt down over 30 seconds of humility. I don’t care. Faith, gratitude, and prayer built more of this country than bureaucrats ever will. This should become normal again. 🙏🙏 @ReannGasper

On the first day of the Battle of the Somme, 800 (overwhelmingly “white heterosexual”) men of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment went over the top. 68 answered roll call the next morning. Now their male descendants can’t work at NL’s only university which was named in their honour.
