Hamilton was asked whether he feels Leclerc races him more aggressively than other drivers, with the question referencing the Monegasque's approach when battling Max Verstappen in Singapore.

When pressed to elaborate, Hamilton refused to go into further detail:
LH: « I can't say more. If you look at the teammates, it's the same with Sebastian. It's the same with Carlos.
He's been here a long time. He's at eight years. Nine wins in the team. He's very much embedded within the team, and I knew that it would always be a challenge. I've always respected that, and I've approached the team. I've really worked hard to build a good relationship with Charles and bridge the gap and make sure that we're harmonious and we work hard together. Always try to be respectful.
Naturally, it's not so easy having someone like me come into a team because I'm very outspoken, and I push and push and push and push for so many changes. »

Leclerc has a 2 day old kid at home but somehow this 41 year old kid at his workplace cries more.
Do you feel like Leclerc fights harder against you than he does against the other drivers?
Lewis: « Yes. You can see what you can see. In Singapore, he was all the way on the inside at the start. He could have taken the lead there and won the race, but he backed out. That’s definitely different. But if you look at his previous teammates, the same applied to Sebastian and Carlos. »
