I predicted this years ago and pivoted from primarily brand deal based revenue to B2B service revenue
Best part is if you are diligent and hardworking you start to reap network effects that simply aren’t possible as a creator
Every creator is feeling this, but no one is saying it:
A lot of the strategies that used to work for creators aren’t working anymore.
It’s harder to get the same attention you used to.
And you have two options:
→ You can pack it up and quit
→ Or you can adapt, meet the moment, and keep going
For me, adapting means two things:
1.) Focus less on the outcome
2.) Change what I’m optimizing for
Instead of focusing my attention on how many people see something, I’m focusing my attention on the people who do.
Attention is harder to earn right now. But you can still make something worth paying attention to.
Damn graduation is more perfect of an album than I remember
Mbdtf is still my ideal of a 10/10
But damn he was in his bag in 07
I make one song a week and freestyle for 4 hours and have felt zero downsides of my rampant AI slopping

The depressing version of the brain-gym prediction is that we'll get brain gyms and they'll be exactly as representative as physical gyms are: about 20% of the population, skewed by income and conscientiousness, mostly performing the legible lifts for the legible score, and the other 80% will develop the cognitive equivalent of back pain at 45 and call it normal aging.
The highest leverage thing I’ve done as a founder was artificially devalue my time on a case by case basis
"The average consumer actually does not value their time. You would think they do, but they really do not.”
"What people do care about is saving or making money.”
@zach_yadegari, founder of Persona, explains how he's building his AI assistant around that belief:
Repost my NYC X marketing mutuals
I’ll be there too come hang out
NYC Exit Five Meetup - 13 tickets left for next week, come hang out with me and the team.
Plus live podcast recording + giving away great prizes (not boring B2B swag)

the thing with AI is that it's like being chased by a bear
you don't actually need to outrun the bear
you just got to outrun the other people
