Every sponsorship is an implicit endorsement. If you wouldn't recommend a product without being paid, you probably shouldn't recommend it when you are. Turning down the money might hurt today. But protecting your audience's trust is an investment in your long-term relationship with them.

Every decision you make when planning an in-person event is a trade-off. Better food → higher ticket prices. Better venue → higher ticket prices. More guest speakers → less peer interaction. You’re deciding which compromises you’re willing to make.

Every one of these fits into what I call The Trust Loop: PERCEPTION → How someone sees you PROMISE → The promise you make PRACTICE → How you follow through PROOF → The result you create Then that proof shapes their perception of you, and the loop starts again.
