Imagine how simple it is to let my son be in control of his own disability experience without suing his dad pretending I’m a “threat”? He’s so happy. He has his dignity. Staff are trained to recognize him and his needs. So easy.

Why did you delete this post @katy4congress? Embarrassed that a school teacher doesn’t know how to read the title of the book in your own photo? Just like the Big Bend fiasco I caught you in. You’re either a liar or incompetent. Both are disqualifying.

Harold Fannin Jr. came out of Canton McKinley High School as a zero star recruit. Not underrated. Unranked. He had no major scholarship offers at all. He was also a defensive back. He had never played a snap at tight end in his life. One school offered him. The Bowling Green Falcons, and they offered him at a position he did not play. "If you're good, I wouldn't be focused on being Power 5. If you're good enough, the scouts are gonna come see you." He caught 19 passes as a freshman. Then came 2024, and two things happened at the same time. The first is that he became the best tight end in the history of college football. 117 catches. 1,555 yards. 10 touchdowns. Both the catches and the yards are FBS single season records for the position. He also became the first tight end ever to lead the entire country in receptions and receiving yards. Not among tight ends. Among every receiver in America. The second thing is that his sister died. Haria Wise was diagnosed with leukemia in early 2021. On October 23, 2024, in the middle of that season, she died. She was 20 years old. So was he. "She was really special to me because we're so close in age. We grew up together." "It was unexpected, but every time I talked to my sister, she always just told me how proud she was." His mother told him what to do. "I told him, Haria is your biggest supporter, always has been, and she would want you to continue and carry on." He played the day after her funeral. He went out against Kent State with In Loving Memory Haria written on the tape on his left wrist. He scored. His mother said it felt like it was his first touchdown ever. He puts his grandfather Benjamin Smith on that tape too. He died when Harold was in eighth grade. "It made me realize that life is really short. So I knew I had to give it my all in whatever I was doing." He finished that season as the first consensus All American in Bowling Green history and the highest graded player in college football. He went 67th in the draft. Sixty six players heard their names first. As a rookie he led the Cleveland Browns in receiving and broke their franchise rookie record for catches. And today, Cleveland got outgained by the Carolina Panthers 362 yards to 259 and did not run for a single touchdown. They scored twice all afternoon, both through the air. Harold Fannin Jr. caught both of them. The second came from 14 yards out with under two minutes left, with the Browns losing, and it put them ahead for good. Browns 21, Panthers 18. Zero stars. One offer. A position he had never played. And a name on his wrist.

I have a request. I need to contact members of my old unit, the one I went to Desert Storm with. I need to contact members of 2nd Battalion 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade of the 82nd Airborne Division. Especially members of D/2-504. I was their first sergeant. If you know of or have contact with Desert Storm veterans of this battalion, please DM me and I will give my contact info. This is a request for reposts as well. I have information about the VA's ability to provide healthcare for my brothers. Our battalion was the one who occupied this area and I'm paying the price with neuropathy and fibromyalgia. My symptoms are under control. I would like to see that all of my troops get the same care. In March of 1991, following the end of Operation Desert Storm, paratroopers from 2-504 were occupying the area in southeastern Iraq encompassing Khamisiyah conducted two large scale demolition operations to destroy the Iraqi munitions and facilities in the area. Before the demolition, the Khamisiyah facility was a large ammunition storage depot and it was believed to house only conventional ammunition. When these operations were carried out, it apparently was unknown that the rockets stored in the facilities contained weaponized sarin and cyclosarin chemicals. Please help me get in contact with my troops.

If they want to take the money I used to pay for Ians nanny, and his medicine that isn't covered by insurance, I'll let him go with that look. They may silence me, but others will speak up about it.

Meet 38-year-old Bonnie Pierce. She ran out of her burning home in St. Paul last week, only to realize her toddler was still inside. Without hesitation, she ran back in. Firefighters found her 15 minutes later unresponsive on the floor of her burning house, her body wrapped around her baby’s. She didn’t make it. Her daughter did. Since everyone seems to have forgotten, THIS is what a good mom looks like.

Last night, I made a simple request on X. I asked if anybody visiting Arlington National Cemetery for Memorial Day would stop by Alan’s grave and leave a photo for our family. What happened next honestly caught me off guard. By this afternoon, dozens of Americans from all walks of life had made the walk to Section 60 to visit SSG Alan W. Shaw. Veterans. Families. Complete strangers. People who had never met Alan, but chose to honor him anyway. For one day on social media, people put aside the constant noise and negativity and came together for something bigger than themselves. My notifications filled with photos, kind messages, prayers, and stories from people honoring not just Alan, but so many of our fallen heroes. I don’t think people fully understand what moments like this mean to Gold Star families. The fear is never just losing them. It’s losing them slowly over time as the world moves on and fewer people remember their name. But today showed me that Alan will never be forgotten. After years of watching social media reward some of the worst parts of humanity, today gave me a reminder that the good is still out there too. Thank you to every single person who stopped by to visit Alan today, said his name, shared his story, or took a moment to honor the fallen. This right here is the America Alan knew and loved enough to fight and die for. And today, y’all showed us all that it’s still here and it’s still worth fighting for. 🇺🇸
