Hi, in case it's helpful, just to clarify that the concept of quiet façade, especially in Nordic countries, refer to the side of the building/flat looking at an inner courtyard and not to a street. Another study on them sciencedirect.com/science/ar…

One of the reasons is most buildings and houses in the UK have windows that open to the outside.
And yes, external shading makes a huge difference. I'm Andalusian and I've had to put cardboards on the outside in the UK. 🙈
And it's so absurd to think that a diagnosis gets you all the support you need or that it's an "easy mode pass" that it just tells about the ignorance of those who think it.
This is the most important message. A society cannot be okay with so many children struggling in school and in life. Adults have the responsibility to change that society for them.
If you don't like "diagnosis", fight for making them unnecessary in the first place.
I was pleased to have contributed to the independent review from Prof Peter Fonagy which highlights an urgent truth: our children are distressed.
A million children should not be waiting for help with mental health or an assessment for autism or ADHD.

Prof Peter Fonagy said there had been a "very real" rise in "distress & mental ill health among young people". He also notes how conditions such as anxiety & depression can "worsen the traits of ADHD and autism" but says Wes Streeting was completely wrong about over diagnosis.

And to add recent data, I only see "influencers" actually calling bullsh*t on RSD and instead relating it to recurrent traumatic events.
