What the Polymarket book did around SpaceX Starship Flight 12 ignition. In the hour before launch: 79¢ → 88¢ as confidence built. The minute it lifted off: 88¢ → 99¢, ask side vanished, market resolved YES.

Remember when we dropped the full Polymarket order book archive? 30M+ rows per hourly dump, raw parquet files, everyone loved it The problem: you had to download 500MB-1GB parquet files, write your own parser, reconstruct the book yourself from tick deltas That's over. You can now query historical order books directly from the API. 4 lines of Python. 🧵

Kalshi has the best price 44% of the time. Polymarket has it 42%. It's a coin flip. $22B or $15B, neither platform consistently beats the other on price. And the gap depends entirely on what you trade. The category matters more than the platform.

Kalshi just raised $1B at a $22B valuation. They claim 90% of U.S. prediction market activity. So they must have the best prices, right? We checked 1,812 liquid markets. Not even close.
