I grew up poor, w/ just my father, in a 'good' school. If we had the stipend this video presents, I wouldn't have had to wear shirts with holes on the bus. Dad wouldn't have had to work fourteen hours a day. Our lives would have been better. Better now but the past still happened

I worked TWO JOBS (part time, total 40hr/week) food service in high school so that I didn't have to bug my dad for money. Most of my peers didn't have to work until after college. Makes me FUME that other kids have to deal with this still, probably worse, twenty years later.
