It begins - my agents are diving in to this M6 Mac Mini to bring it up under Omarchy Linux as quickly as possible.
Let's see how long it takes us to get from macOS About screen to Omarchy About screen.
They're pulling some benchmarks first to see how it performs for local AI.

1/ Cinematic upgrade
Use this when you want a normal video to look more professional.
Prompt:
Edit this video into a cinematic clip. Keep [main subject] unchanged. Improve the lighting to look like [lighting style]. Add [camera movement], [colour style], and [visual mood]. Do not change [details that must stay the same].
Example:
Edit this video into a cinematic clip. Keep my face and outfit unchanged. Improve the lighting to look like warm sunset light. Add slow camera movement, soft contrast, and a calm luxury mood. Do not change the background or my body movement.
I see builders doing wild things on omarchy so I started zooming with them to ask how they do what they do?
David: Builder #7 @davidzu
Type 1 diabetic. His android sensor app didn't show him enough data, so he built his own app on omarchy!
Rails backend. Native kotlin android app.
"I don't know anything about kotlin."...but he shipped anyway with deepseek agents. That's David's whole vibe...Just build it.

Under my rule, hijab would be mandatory for men. They dress very immodestly these days. Nobody wants to see your chest hair, Mustafa. Cover up.
I want to meet the people behind the X usernames. Your background, what you're working on, what excites you, and what brought you to Omarchy, AI, linux and tech in general.
Complete beginners, seasoned devs, AI experts, or folks who installed linux yesterday are all welcome!
Some of the best conversations happen with people from different backgrounds so I want to hear your story, swap ideas, and make some new friends.
It's FREE. No sales pitch, no agenda, no expectations. Just 2 folks who share an interest in tech and talking to strangers! LOL!
Let's make this community about more than software and get to know the people who make it great.
Grab a time slot and let's chat on zoom!

The more agents and projects you have running, the harder it gets to keep track of everything through chat alone.
This is where Hermes Kanban comes in.
Here's how Hermes Kanban works, why it's worth using, and how I'd recommend setting it up:
Chat is where you work with an agent.
Kanban is where you manage the work across agents.
Hermes Kanban gives you a visual dashboard for tracking tasks across your agents and projects. But it's much more than a task board.
Here's what you can do with it:
• Create tasks and assign them to specific Hermes agents.
• Track what's ready, running, blocked, or completed.
• Set dependencies so tasks wait for other work to finish.
• Coordinate handoffs between specialized agents.
• Review progress and see where something needs your attention.
And with the dispatcher, Hermes can pick up tasks that are ready to run and launch the appropriate agent to handle them.
Now, here's something I'd recommend:
**Create a separate Kanban board for each major project.**
For example:
📌 Content production
Research → Drafting → Review → Assets → Done
📌 Software development
Bugs → Features → Testing → Review → Done
📌 Business operations
Research → Waiting → In Progress → Blocked → Done
Hermes supports multiple isolated boards, so each project can have its own tasks, workspaces, logs, and agent workflows. You can also connect a board to a Hermes Project to keep the work tied to the right project context.
The more work you hand off to Hermes, the more valuable this becomes.
Instead of digging through conversations trying to figure out what every agent is doing, give each project its own board and manage the work from one place.

U gonna piss somebody off no matter what u do, say, wear, or believe in, so fuck it. Get comfortable being disliked. Get comfortable being spoken about, lied on, and misunderstood. It’s kinda fun anyway.

Introducing Hommies
A little buddy in your Omarchy that keeps an eye on all your running coding agents.
I watch podcasts, play games, stream… and my agents never sit stuck on a dumb permission prompt or a silly question anymore. It pings me, and I answer right from the floating buddy or the top bar.
Before this, I'd come back hours later and find my agent frozen on "Allow this command?" or on a question in some tab I forgot about. Not anymore. It's saved me hours.
Works with Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode & Omacode.
Setup in 3 steps:
1️⃣ npm i -g @thisisayande/hommies
2️⃣ hommies setup
(finds your agents and adds its hooks to their settings. Your existing hooks stay, and every file it touches gets backed up first.)
3️⃣ omarchy plugin add github.com/ayandexyz/hommies…
Additional step :- omarchy restart shell
Done with it? run
> hommies uninstall
removes every hook it added. Clean exit.
Animation inspired by @tahayvr 🙌
@dhh @OmarchyLinux ❤️
PRs welcome! I want Hommies to become a full desktop assistant, not just an agent watcher.
npm package - github.com/ayandexyz/Hommies
Plugin - github.com/ayandexyz/hommies…
also on marketplace plugins.omarchy.org/plugin.h…
Greyforge is building a foundation here. This is how projects become standards

You don't have to commit your entire life to optimism, just try it on for a week. Start thinking "what if it all worked out?" and "what a time to be alive!". Then compare your state of mind to the week before filled with pessimism and doomer nonsense.
