I could use your help gathering some data for my upcoming Laracon EU talk.
If you ever had a slow Laravel application/slow request/slow command/etc. - what was the reason for it?
Would be great to get as many replies as possible. Please retweet for reach 🙂

Tip: In @ChromeDevTools you can hide network requests from Chrome extensions! Great for focusing on just your code when performance profiling.
ALT Tip: In Chrome DevTools you can hide network requests from Chrome extensions! Great for focusing on just your code when performance profiling. Before, requests from any Chrome extensions you had installed could show up in panels like Network, making it harder to focus on the root cause of problems. The new "Hide extension URLs" checkbox helps out over here.

🚨 URGENT: The IEC has confirmed in writing that voters in queues at 21h00 must be assisted. All voters that are in the queue - whether or not they are inside the voting stations - must be assisted. Please share this far and wide.
South Africa is worth rescuing. A long voting line is still shorter than 5 years of bad ANC governance.

🚨 The DA is making progress in its fight to scrap BEE! Parliament has published the DA's proposed law to do away with the job-killing legislation.
This will ensure that economic opportunities are available to all, not just a few ANC-connected cadres.
