Excited to share that Evolution has joined Nuvion @ournuvion 🚀
When we started Evolution, we had a simple vision: make moving money across borders easier and more accessible for individuals and businesses, enabling them to go Global from wherever they were.
We believed that accessing global financial services shouldn’t be complicated simply because of where you live or where your business operates.
What started as a platform for exchanging digital assets grew into something much bigger. We built infrastructure that enabled people and businesses to hold multiple currencies, receive international payments, move money across borders, and access financial tools that were previously out of reach.
Along the way, we served thousands of users, processed millions of dollars in transactions, and learned firsthand what it takes to build financial infrastructure in emerging markets.
But more importantly, we saw just how much work remains to be done.
As we continued building, one thing became increasingly clear: solving cross-border banking challenges at scale requires more than a great product. It requires strong financial infrastructure, regulatory reach, and the ability to serve businesses wherever they operate.
That’s what makes this next chapter with Nuvion particularly exciting.
Nuvion is building an AI Powered Global banking platform for ambitious businesses, bringing multicurrency accounts, international payments, FX, virtual cards, and stablecoin infrastructure together in one place.
Our visions have always been closely aligned, and joining forces gives us the opportunity to pursue what we started at Evolution on a much larger scale.
For me, this is an opportunity to take everything we’ve learned building Evolution and apply it to something with the infrastructure, reach, and ambition to serve businesses around the world.
I’m especially excited that members of the Evolution team are continuing this journey with me at Nuvion. We’ve spent years building, solving difficult problems, and learning together. Now we get to bring that experience into a much bigger mission.
To everyone who believed in Evolution, our early customers, investors, partners, community, and the incredible people who contributed to our journey: thank you.
You trusted us when we were still figuring things out, challenged us to build better, and helped turn an idea into a real business.
I’m incredibly proud of what we built, and even more excited about what comes next.
Evolution was never just about building another fintech company. It was about making global banking accessible for the people and businesses who need it.
That mission continues at Nuvion.
The Job is just starting
Sincerely hoping Kano somehow comes with Dave Santan and they perform Chapter 16.
Would really make my night.
See ragebait ooo.
Some people still haven’t fully recovered.
The craziest part of the FTX story is that the victims got their money back. All of it, plus 18% interest.
And the money came from a bet Sam Bankman-Fried made with their cash.
Back in 2021, before anyone cared about AI, SBF quietly put $500 million of FTX money into a startup founded by ex-OpenAI researchers. That startup was Anthropic, the company behind Claude. When FTX blew up in November 2022, the stake was just another line item for the bankruptcy lawyers to pick through.
Three weeks after the collapse, ChatGPT launched.
Suddenly the most radioactive balance sheet in crypto was sitting on one of the hottest private assets on earth. The estate sold the 8% stake for $1.3 billion in 2024. Jane Street, the firm where SBF worked before founding FTX, was among the biggest buyers. That sale, plus the rest of the recovered assets, let the estate pay creditors between 118 and 143 cents on the dollar.
Here's the part I can't get over. Anthropic was just valued at $965 billion. The stake FTX dumped for $1.3 billion would be worth roughly $75 billion today. The hole SBF dug was $8 billion. His stolen-money side bet would have filled it nine times over.
One catch the victims know well. Claims were paid at November 2022 crypto prices. If you had a bitcoin on FTX, you got 118% of about $16,000, not your bitcoin.
The best trade of SBF's life was made with money that wasn't his. His victims collected the first $1.3 billion. Everyone who bought from the estate collected the rest.
Only 1 Bangkok🙌🏻
🏆 Bangkok was just voted the No. 1 Best City in the World by the readers of Condé Nast Traveller (UK) in their latest Readers' Choice Awards.
With an overall score of 97.68, the city topped this year's rankings ahead of destinations like Paris, Istanbul, and Rome.
What makes Bangkok unstoppable?
🍽 Street Food & Fine Dining: Sizzling Pad Thai from a night market stall one evening, world-class Michelin dining the next.
🙏 Timeless Culture: The golden grandeur of the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, and iconic riverside temples.
🌇Sky-High Nightlife: Glamorous rooftop bars floating high above the city skyline.
😄 Unmatched Energy: The perfect vibe of vibrant markets balanced by warm, world-famous hospitality.
After missing out on the top ranks in recent years, Bangkok’s incredible comeback proves that travellers can't get enough of the City of Angels.

Excited to join the Silicon Valley & The World Global Advisory Board, an initiative launched by @semafor alongside Co-Chairs Sam Altman of OpenAI, Jensen Huang of Nvidia, Satya Nadella of Microsoft, Lisa Su of AMD, Divesh Makan of ICONIQ, and Ruth Porat of Alphabet.
Looking forward to bringing an African perspective to this global dialogue, championing alignment between the leaders building AI, the policymakers regulating it, and the businesses deploying it on the ground.
I’ve been “offered” 4 CTO roles on LinkedIn in 2 weeks by companies that do not exist. If scamming is the new ecosystem growth strategy, business is booming.

Today, Samsung, the world’s largest smartphone maker, and @solana announced a partnership to bring cross border USDC payments to 82M Galaxy devices.
Here’s @SolanaFndn CPO @vibhu on what this means for mass adoption, why Samsung is the ideal partner, and why he believes “every smartphone will eventually support stablecoins.”
Nothing to see here, just the absolute magic of Solana Developer Platform being shown to the world by the absolute greatest!
Amazing times!!
.@GuiBibeau, Lead Product Engineer @SolanaFndn, on the Solana developer platform: custody, compliance, payments and issuance as open source modules, so institutions stop rebuilding the same stack.
A real house of cards.
Moove ends Nigerian operations one month after Uber exit
@moove_io , the Uber-backed mobility company, will end its operations in Nigeria today, marking its exit from the market where it was founded.
In a statement shared with TechCabal, the company said eligible vehicles worth approximately ₦35 billion ($26.3 million) will be transferred into the full ownership of the customers currently operating them, with no further payment to Moove required for the vehicles themselves.
The move follows Uber’s shocking exit from the country in September after 12 years of operations.
Moove said it will also reward all staff members with a free car. The company added it now operates 42,000 vehicles across 29 cities globally.
“More than 9,000 customers have used our Drive-to-Own and rental products in Nigeria. Their work generated approximately ₦57 billion in revenue through Moove-financed vehicles,” Ladi Delano, Moove’s cofounder, co-CEO and advisory board chairman, said in the statement. “Those numbers matter because they represent people earning, supporting their families and building their own futures.”

Unlike many networks, Solana users don't need to go into "bunker mode" ahead of an accelerated quantum timeline or classical attack provided by AI.
Solana uses Ed25519, where each signing key is derived by hashing a secret seed. Breaking the curve, whether by a quantum computer or a classical attack, would expose the derived key, but not the seed, and seeds are never exposed onchain. With a one-time network upgrade, rightful owners could prove knowledge of their seed using a hash-based proof and move their accounts to a safe signature scheme. A working proof of concept already exists: github.com/anza-xyz/cryptogr….
Solana remains secure today and has a defined path forward.
Today I call upon the blockchain industry to calmly begin planning for "bunker mode". My personal recommendation is to set in motion a controlled mass migration of assets to fresh addresses, i.e. addresses whose pubkeys remain hidden behind a hash.
Holders, starting with large and sophisticated ones, should consider moving the bulk of their funds to addresses that have never signed a transaction. And when they do sign one, they should also move remaining funds to a new address (possibly generated from the same seed phrase).
Don't rush. While I believe there is cause for action a rushed migration would do more harm than good. Don't panic either. Moving assets to protected addresses is a simple, preventative step which does not require new cryptography or new wallets.
IMO it is now reasonable to brace for the possibility that ECDSA breaks before qday, in the worst case in months not years. By "break" I mean fast private key recovery (e.g. in one week) on available hardware (e.g. a large GPU cluster).
Recent days have been humbling for human mathematical intuition. Long-held, unquestioned hypotheses have fallen. This includes the n log(n) bound for integer multiplication and the 3SUM conjecture. In hindsight, May's unexpected disproof of the Erdős unit distance conjecture was our warning shot.
Yesterday's OpenAI drop made it clear that mathematical superintelligence is upon us. They say there are weeks where decades happen. We are about to live through weeks where centuries of mathematical progress happen. Could our magic 64-byte ECDSA signatures be too good to be true? Was it just security through obscurity all this time?
Elliptic curves feel especially vulnerable to superintelligence. Curves carry rich structure, with room for fancy tricks like Schoof, Frobenius, pairings. (By contrast, hashes are designed to minimise algebraic structure.)
Separately, as Ewin Tang can attest, an efficient quantum algorithm sometimes foreshadows an efficient classical one. We should be open to the possibility of a classical counterpart to Shor that breaks elliptic curves and RSA at once.
Also noteworthy is the striking under-representation of cryptographic breakthroughs among the 722 mathematical results OpenAI published. I've witnessed first-hand the US government censoring academic quantum cryptanalysis results. Backroom interventionism is my base case.
I urge large, sophisticated actors to lead by example. Project11's "risq list" (bitcoin-risq-list.projecteleven[.]com) is a great tracker of exposed BTC pubkeys. Binance, Bitbank, Robinhood, Bitfinex, and Tether have an opportunity to harden their cold storage. Next month I'll address institutions in London in a live Q&A (forum.ethereuminstitutional[.]org/london-2026).
Again, please do not rush. Wallets holding under 50 BTC enjoy partial cover from "Satoshi's shield", i.e. his 20K exposed addresses that hold 50 BTC each. Load-bearing signers like oracles and L2 security councils should consider rotating ECDSA pubkeys with every signed message and/or multi-signing with a hash-based schemes like SPHINCS.
Exiting bunker mode safely will require post-AI cryptography. My inclination is to go all-in on hash-based cryptography and avoid structured mathematical assumptions entirely, whether from curves, lattices, or isogenies. A single battle-tested hash (e.g. from the SHA or BLAKE families) yields plausible post-AI security.
The Ethereum roadmap on strawmap[.]org fully embraces hash-based cryptography with end-to-end formal verification as a response to the quantum threat. Those timelines must now be revisited and accelerated in light of mathematical superintelligence. I'll be pushing for maximum defensive acceleration.

Hi. If elliptic curves are broken so that any exposed public key leads to compromise, and it's not by white hat hackers who save everyone's assets first, your coins are going to zero. Having them in bunker mode is not going to help you. They are still worth zero.

Small trick to fight slop designs:
- Install the claude for chrome plugin
- Ask a QA and responsive design review on each PR
thank me later
