10 out of 11 last recessions were ruled by a republican president. This time it's going to be one of the worst recessions (possible depression) ever.

It's so obvious. It's called fleecing to embolden musk's own companies. Everyone else will lose workers, but musk? Nah, he gets to keep whatever he needs.
It's called corruption. And we're in for 4 years of it. Thanks.

How many votes did you get?
Hey @AskRobinhood , your automated support is atrocious. And not having a legit phone number to call in for support is even more ridiculous. Answer my goddamn requests.
Hey @mercari_app, your ui interface for shipping orders on your website leaves much to be desired. No packing slips available to print, and the seller "dashboard" is useless. Make the "ship this item" indicator an actual button to start the shipping process!

Until we have treatment for #LongCovid — until we are start supporting those disabled — Every single person is one infection away from losing their career, house, savings, & relationships.
If you think this is hyperbole, literally talk to anybody living with this condition.

“The response to #LongCovid has been muted. In the rush to declare the pandemic over, the low quality of life experienced by millions with long COVID has apparently been deemed acceptable.”

New highly anticipated #LongCovid study from @UCSF now out 👇
“Overall, these observations challenge the paradigm that COVID-19 is a transient acute viral infection & provide evidence for T cell activation & viral persistence in tissues well beyond the initial illness.”
Wow, this new paper is a huge deal! T cell activation & viral RNA persistence were found up to 2 years post acute infection in #LongCovid patients.
Patients with T cell activation in the spinal cord and gut wall were more likely to have Long Covid. 1/

Covid-19 may increase risk of the heart condition POTS, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, which is more common among women between 15 and 50 years old and in people with certain autoimmune conditions.

Finally some mainstream coverage. Been going on for years
Not only that, I’m not metabolizing nutrients like normal. Found out my iron numbers are completely screwed up. Iron overload, but iron in blood is fine. Like my body isn’t binding to it and getting rid of excess. Stopped iron rich foods and it has calmed my mcas symptoms.

🚨🚨Bad news…real time Disability Data from US Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) rose 857k in June to a new all time high of 34.15 million. The rate of change is accelerating again. If this was a stock it’s a break out chart and reacceleration of trend. Both employed women & men hit new highs as well.

My patient before #Covid;
walked 10,000 steps daily,
biked 20 miles on weekends.
My patient after #LongCovid uses a cane to pick up mail from the front porch.
#Covid is still here
#LongCovid is still raging.

3 and a half years on, with millions chronically ill due to Covid, we should legitimately and reasonably expect to be seeing doctors / researchers throwing the kitchen sink and more at #LongCovid by way of treatments. Literally every single immunotherapy in the cabinet...

This tracks with UK data too, where disability claims doubled for all ages and tripled for teenagers last year.
New data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor:
The number of people with a disability dramatically increased & hit a new record of 34 million in June 2023.
#LongCovid is a mass disabling event.

“Lyle often thinks back on his life before he initially caught COVID.. He worked as a personal trainer and a nutrition coach, but now his energy levels wane so easily that just having coffee with friends.. can induce chronic fatigue for up to a week.” #LongCovid

75-90% of #LongCovid cases happen after “mild”/non-hospitalized acute infections.
