Zelensky: It's a pity that we are losing a strong partner.
Morgan: You think you're losing America?
Zelensky: Yeah, but not because of us. We can’t be weak. Otherwise, we can’t survive… This is why it’s painful when Trump chooses to be on Russia’s side. This is not the right side of history.

Another interesting number to enquirer about: how much diesel does the #US EXPORT. As far as I know, USA has always been a major diesel exporter, covering its own internal needs and selling the surplus. So what happened now?
I’ll tell you what happened. The BIG BEAUTIFUL DEAL is a BIG BEAUTIFUL SCAM. All to keep #putin happy and bombing.
Since 1950s the USA has almost NEVER imported diesel. America always had more than enough to cover its own consumption. It sold an average of 1.2-1.6 million barrels A DAY of surplus diesel on global markets. And in 2026 the US is still selling abroad. 1.5 million barrels/day to be exact. To Europe and Latin America.
On the rare occasion when the US did have to import, it did so from #Canada. This was a logistically logical historical arrangement benefiting North-Western States. Delivery of Canadian diesel across the border was cheaper than transporting it up all the way from the US Gulf Coast.
BUT in September 2026 the TRUMP TARIFFS come into effect. Suddenly the 50% tariffs added aggressive price premiums to Canadian imports and caused a significant decline in normal cross-border logistical fuel deliveries.
Could this diesel market disturbance been avoided? YES
Would it have saved US from having to import from #russia? YES
Would more Ukrainians have had to die for this? NO
But Trump chose a different route.
Diesel import from #russia is a choice, not a need for the USA.
300K barrels makes no difference for an economy that consumes 5.3 million barrels a day. 500K barrels from russia will be an equally insignificant drop in the ocean of the US market. Even 4 million barrels spread over TWO YEARS will not make the pump prices drop for American truck drivers and farmers.
WHAT difference does the russia diesel import make and for WHOM?
1) putin. He gets extra cash for his war machine to keep going.
Most importantly, he gets the US to send the signal globally that sanctions against russia can be eased. After all the US eased them, so others can now follow suit. This means more cash for russia to be killing more Ukrainians.
2) Trump. He gets to stay friends with putin AND continue making money of daily US diesel exports (especially now that global diesel prices are high). All while talking about saving the American farmer and truck driver.
3) Americans. Will not get lower diesel prices and will not get more diesel (not that they don’t have enough of what is produced in-country).
4) Ukrainians. Will suffer more attacks from russia, who was going to intensifying the bombing campaign anyway, but now will do so even more emboldened by the USA.
5) President @ZelenskyyUa and Ukrainian military will need to carry out more attacks on rusdisn oil sector. Without patriots and US support, it’s the only way for the Ukrainian president to protect the people.

There now exists a global fascist movement with Russia at its core, supported by billionaires and using their technology and social media platforms to promote Kremlin agenda, including the installation of pro-Russian and far-right governments into Western capitals.
A no-rules world resembling Putin's Russia and decades of war are what is in store for humanity if electorates do not soon begin to see this trend clearly.
From experience, Ukraine understands that it's much easier to keep the Russian world out than it is to get them out once they're already in.

" I think we need to make clear to the Russians and everyone else that there are a few things that are completely off the table in these negotiations.
One is EU membership. It is not Russia who decides on EU membership. It is the European Union who does that.
Two is NATO. It is not Russia that decides on NATO membership. It is the Alliance itself.
Three is Ukrainian defence. It is not Russia that decides on what Ukraine has by its border, when, where, and how.
And four: European security arrangements ... or order. It’s not Russia that decides on that. We already have a European security order and should stick to it."

It should be clear enough 🤷♀️

A horrific strike by two Russian drones on a civilian vessel in neutral waters carrying corn and owned by Türkiye. Azerbaijani and Indian citizens were on board. As of now, unfortunately, we know that the ship’s captain was killed. My condolences. The fate of one other person is still being established. Eleven crew members were rescued, one of them injured.
Ukraine has repeatedly proposed concrete steps to de-escalate the situation and ensure security in the Black Sea. There have also been relevant proposals from third countries. But Russia consistently chooses terror and sinking civilian vessels instead of normal maritime navigation. Pressure is needed to restore global food security. And everyone who is genuinely interested in this must help.

According to our intelligence, Russia is preparing to stage dozens of videos in occupied Oleshky, forcing local residents to say on camera that they are happy, well-fed, and grateful to the Russian occupiers.
Russian cynicism knows no limits. First, they occupy a town, cut off civilians' escape routes, and block humanitarian aid. Then they force local residents to act in staged propaganda videos.
This is the latest step in a weeks-long, disgusting Russian propaganda campaign that denies any problems in Oleshky and claims there is no humanitarian catastrophe there.
We urge the international community and all relevant international organizations to increase pressure on Moscow and demand that the Russian occupiers immediately end the siege of Oleshky. On our part, Ukraine’s Defense Forces are making every effort to help people, such as the recent delivery of humanitarian aid by heavy drones.
Every day counts in saving people who are starving and dying there. We urge our international partners to act now and demand immediate humanitarian access to end this disaster.

No Russian official ever imagined that “Army General Winter”, which had fought on Russia’s side for centuries, would one day switch sides and support those defending themselves from Russia.
We will make that happen this winter if Russia continues to target our energy system and our heating.
Ukrainians understand that this winter could be very harsh for us. But in response, we will have no choice but to make it painful for Russia too.
And that’s exactly why we say that de-escalation steps are needed before winter.
