Here's Trump's and Netanyahu's problem:
A deal with Iran before elections would have been the best. But Iran did not bow down.
So now they have 2 options:
1. Escalate with gusto
2. Be vague and wait
Out of these options, being vague is the worst. So they have to escalate.
WARNING: USA is now ready for a major escalation in the Middle East. Many signs point to an imminent attack as soon as this weekend. Israeli elections are on 27th October and Trump wants Netanyahu to be re-elected.

If this statement holds true for October, that means you’re taking about nearly SIXTY vessels that would have been struck by Iran in the first two weeks of the month…

2025 Trump squeezed Europe with tariffs and with this same talking point. Then Europeans promised to buy $750B of US Energy, buy unspecified amount of military equipment and "invest" $600B in USA.
Last week Europeans refused to release diesel from their storages. Coincidence?

@EIAgov released the Petroleum report today and there’s a drop of 8.6 million barrels in commercial crude oil stocks and an additional drop of 4.8 million barrels of refined products.
No decline in the SPR, but an overall drop of 13.4 million barrels is bad news.
