Arent Israel and its supporters always accusing Palestinian families of "they raise their children to hate our children?" Mmmm....Anyway, I don't think these children, or any human being can forget this sadism and everyday TERRORISM being visited upon them.

The people who voted have spoken, and I respect that.
But the housing crisis in Cape Town didn’t disappear on election day. Neither did the 500,000 families with nowhere to live, the apartheid spatial plan, or the gap between those who can afford to be here and those who can’t.
We ran on solutions - not slogans. Alongside candidates who share this fight for a fairer city, we pushed for affordable housing in well-located areas, dignified living conditions, and a City that builds inclusion instead of managing exclusion.
The result doesn’t change those realities.
It just means the work continues - in council, in communities, and next week.
The struggle for social and spatial justice in Cape Town is not over.

Tonight, a mosque hosted a Shabbat against genocide. Jews, Muslims and people of different backgrounds standing together for Palestine and humanity. This is who we are in South Africa.

So the anti-Zionist movement in Cape Town is deeply concerning me. There were thousands saying in unison we are for Palestine. Clearly that was a lie because they voted for a party that can’t say the word genocide.

The results as of 10 a.m. today tell the same story I have been telling on this page. There is no sign that immigration was the most important issue on the minds of South Africans as they voted.
Let us do the arithmetic. The Patriotic Alliance (PA) has 4.30 percent and ActionSA has 2.86 percent. Neither has caught the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), who are on 5.18 percent, down from 10.4 percent in 2021. A party that has lost about half of its support is still ahead of them both.
Put the PA and ActionSA together and they have 333,928 votes, less than a quarter of the 1,476,076 won by the African National Congress (ANC) alone. Roughly 93 of every 100 votes counted so far went somewhere else.
Yes, ActionSA is leading the early count in Tshwane, and there are many votes still to be counted. But we were told to expect a tsunami, and so far it looks more like a burst pipe. Knowing our municipalities, nobody will come to fix that either.🤣🤣🤣
In March, a Social Research Foundation poll found that about 23 percent named illegal immigration as one of the country's most pressing issues, while nearly 47 percent named unemployment.
A migrant did not leave the taps dry, the streets dark and the rubbish uncollected. You can chase a poor man across a border, and the tap will still be dry in the morning.
The PA's numbers must also be read properly. The PA has historically consolidated much of its support in coloured communities, particularly among voters who feel overlooked by mainstream politics.
Its growth must also be understood in the context of identity, belonging and political representation. It would be simplistic to interpret its entire vote as a referendum on immigration.
ActionSA's lead in the early count in Tshwane also needs context. Dr Nasiphi Moya has been the mayor there since October 2024, she has been highly visible, and her pitch to voters has been that healthy finances are what will allow the city to deliver for its residents.
The vote there appears to be more about service delivery and a mayor people can see than it is about immigration.
Even the uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party, which defended the March and March movement's right to protest and met its leaders on the eve of the vote, spent the final days of the campaign insisting that enforcing immigration laws must never become an excuse for xenophobia, with former President Jacob Zuma telling his last rally that he did not believe in removing foreigners from the country.

My medical licence was suspended in November 2025. For 15 months. As a result of my advocacy for Palestine. At the behest of the UK pro-'israel' and zionist jewish lobby. Today, I had my second six-monthly review with the @gmcuk and @the_mpts.
For my submission, covering any updates since the last review in May 2026, I told the panel:
- 4,797 Palestinians have since been murdered by the jewish occupation in Gaza. 1,490 of them were children. That is 31%.
- Bombing and massacres occur daily.
- Palestinians continue to be held hostage, kidnapped, and tortured.
- 'israel' continues with impunity, without justice for the Palestinians or the British citizens they massacred.
The GMC counsel described me as 'unrepentant' in my social media activity, giving this as one reason to continue my suspension. I affirmed that I am indeed unrepentant in speaking out against the genocide and the system of supremacy that the UK government continues to fund and arm. That is anchored in my belief in the sanctity of life and the belief that God created all humans equally.
The suspension continues, of course. The GMC will have to apply to the High Court in February if they want to extend it further.
I miss my job and career. I miss practising medicine, caring for patients and the British people. My words, spoken or shared, were against their crimes. Their barbarity. To be unrepentant in this is my duty as a human, a Muslim, and a doctor.

The DA leaders, Mmusi Maimane, John Steenhuisen, Geordin-Hill Lewis, and Michael Magraim, went on a fully funded trip to Israel in 2017. Maimane then met Netanyahu. See how his views and the DA's remain enmeshed with Israel on foreign policy. ICJ case, genocide.

Yes. I know exactly what I am doing. I am stating a historical fact - that apartheid RSA and the IFP converged around ethnic self determination. The IFP was funded as a a conduit for that project. Through its cooperation with apartheid SA, the IFP sought provincial powers and protection for the Zulu monarchy. Any body with a brain knows that many Zulus opposed apartheid. Many opposed nationalism. But it doesn't change the fact that apartheid RSA saw a gap via the IFP and appealed to its Zulu nationalism to seek cooperation. And the IFP itself framed its identity around custodianship of Zulu nationalism.
Zulu and Afrikaner nationalism converged politically in the defence of ethnic self-determination and territorial power.
Operation Manion was explicit in identifying the IFP and the ethnic factor as tools for a larger political project.
The 1991 Inkathagate archive will leave you in no doubt that the IFP's strategy was indeed to mobilize a powerful Zulu nationalist base. I will stop here and you can do your own reading.
Redi knows exactly what she's doing. She especially knows and understands the distinction between @IFP_KZN and the Zulu tribe, as well as the weight of her platform. This is just low IQ rhetoric meant to instigate tribal hostility.

It is not lost to anyone with a memory how white racists instinctively seek Zulu nationalism, as a partner in their quest to divide and conquer. I hope those who lost relatives, were maimed and lost property in KZN, the East Rand, those who survived the violence on trains and hostels, will speak. The Zulu nation, a proud "member" of South Africa's rich tapestry, will tell us if they approve of right wing SA's renewed interest in them. And the rest of South Africa? Apartheid South Africa's financial and security support for the IFP cost this country dearly. Do we want that again?

ELECTIONS: Scathing response by Prof Ziyad Motala to @AdHabb on supporting Helen Zille (DA):
Professor Adam Habib’s endorsement of Helen Zille as Johannesburg’s next mayor has triggered a fierce intellectual showdown, with legal scholar Professor Ziyad Motala accusing the former Wits University vice-chancellor of political hypocrisy, selective historical reasoning and double standards over racism, Palestine and political accountability.
"Your action is to campaign for Zille. You are entitled to excuse Zille’s racism and lack of moral backbone. The rest of us are entitled to judge what that says about you. Your activist past gives you a history, not immunity.”
He finishes with a pointed challenge to Habib’s apparent belief that political experience and pragmatism lend greater credibility to his endorsement than to the objections of his critics.
“Support Zille if you wish, Adam. But spare us the assumption that your compromises demonstrate wisdom while our objections require remedial education.”

I don't understand the sudden discrimination against Muslim South Africans and over halaal food. I actually prefer buying halaal food products, it’s usually great quality and value, and goes through additional checks on ingredients, preparation and handling. Why is this now a problem?

1. So, I come from communities where the mosques, methodist and Catholic churches are on same property divided by simple fences (Bosmont). We prayed, laughed and cried in all depending on whether it’s a wedding, baptism or funeral. This campaign to divide South Africans will fail
