NATCA had a national town hall this afternoon that air traffic controller sources tell @SamanthaJoRoth and I that NATCA President Nick Daniels said my statement in the below tweet (that the union didn’t respond to requests for comment on member concerns) is “bullshit.” We diligently sought comment so we don’t know why Mr. Daniels would state this. We have not received any comment on the record, on background, or even off the record from NATCA since reaching out several times since last Thursday.
