Brunel Way closures,chaos at 7pm, gridlock traffic,re-directed back same route,no signage or re-direction for the airport, no notice @BristolAirport website, 20min journey took 1hr 45mins? ,resulting in a missed flights for a funeral. 🤬
@BristolCouncil @BBCBristol @BristolLive
Elton Road Community in BS7 had a huge clean up to tackle the student recycling, litter, mountain of leaves and to give the street a good clear up. Great effort by everyone involved @BristolWaste can we get a road sweep to give it the final sparkle?
Hi @BristolWaste These broken bikes on the corner of Glouc Rd & Elton Rd, should been collected on 29th Sept… any update as to why they haven’t been collected. This area is already a nightmare for litter dumping so it would be helpful if they could be cleared soon.
Replying to @livingstreets
@livingstreets just our usual daily #CutTheClutter in Bristol. Never a clear path in Bishopston, cars, sofas, bins and now skips. No priority for pedestrians around here.. @MarvinJRees @BristolDon
And another … this didn’t have a licence to trade here.. yet it’s never moved and still trades at the wkd…#CutTheClutter any action @BristolCouncil ?
Usual obstacles, VW driver blocked the whole pavement, Elton Mansion residents continue to block access with bins & dump house hold waste. VW moved before reporting, but what would reporting do, nothing ever changes.🤷🏻♀️ @MarvinJRees @BristolDon @ASPolice @BOSAtpgroup

This is the reality of double yellows in Bishopston. Cars get a ticket but the drivers ignore & just come back to park back on the DY. No regular traffic wardens around here so everyone does as they please @BristolDon @MarvinJRees @BristolCouncil @ASPolice @BOSAtpgroup
@BristolDon @MarvinJRees @ASPolice @BristolCouncil @BOSAtpgroup and here’s the other car owner ignoring the DY…🤷🏻♀️
Not one but two ticketed cars and on Saturday!?..lets hope @BristolCouncil can keep it up as I’m sure there will be plenty more, Thanks for visiting BCC Parking Enforcement Team! 😊 @MarvinJRees @BristolDon
Usual pavement blockage & still no action from @MarvinJRees @BristolDon no priority for pedestrians or residents. BCC survey Jan ‘20 results were ‘overwhelming’ in support for an RPZ or ‘ANY’ intervention on this street- instead parents with pushchairs are forced on the road.
Just another inconsiderate resident thinking their car is more important that the pedestrian!..lack of action from @MarvinJRees @BristolDon means that no one cares or thinks how this impacts those who need pavement access. @AllianceWalking @livingstreets @BOSAtpgroup
This is issue is huge in parts of Bristol and in particular anywhere outside a RPS. What are you thoughts @MarvinJRees @BristolDon should those with disabilities just walk in the road? I ask again who has the priority- the car or the pedestrian?.
“Please just don’t park on the pavement.”
A Yorkshire man has shared this footage of his guide dog to warn people about pavement parking.

Today this road has 7 trades van blocking the whole pavement whilst parked on DYL…. Any traffic wardens @BristolCouncil @ASPolice?….never mind the pedestrians we’ll just walk on the road eh @MarvinJRees
6cars on double yellows, 3 blocking the pavement completely- when will pedestrians get some priority?@MarvinJRees @BristolCouncil @ASPolice
6cars on double yellows, 3 blocking the pavement completely- when will pedestrians get some priority?@MarvinJRees @BristolCouncil @ASPolice
Public dropped kerbs blocked everyday & yes it’s reported but that doesn’t help the parent with a double buggy or the resident with a disabled child in a wheel chair, or the chap on a mobility scooter, they all need to cross the road. Who has priority? @MarvinJRees @BristolDon – at Bristol, England
Thank you @BristolCouncil @BristolWaste for giving our side of the street a long over due clean and sweep! It has made such a difference that we have a ‘tad’ more pavement despite all the cars still parked on it! @KeepBristolTidy
Lovely day for walk- that’s if you can access the pavement?…any priority for pedestrians yet @MarvinJRees @BristolCouncil @BristolDon

All parents and teens need to watch this 5-min @thismorning interview with the JCVI's Professor Finn, who says
"We can't be absolutely sure" there's no long-term damage to children from the vaccine.
Is this a risk you are prepared to take?
