WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS. MILWAUKEE, WE DID IT.
The Brewers brought it home. The city showed up. And the whole world got a taste of Milwaukee.

News: Over 50 Wisconsin business leaders are endorsing David Crowley for governor, saying both candidates were sent a letter asking them to pledge to uphold the election results. Crowley signed it; Tiffany did not.
A digital ad will run on Meta and YouTube until Election Day.

.@BarackObama, the nation's first Black president, endorses @DavidCCrowley, who is seeking to become Wisconsin's first Black governor
Five of the past seven presidential elections in Wisconsin were decided by less than a point. The two that weren't? Obama by 14 and Obama by 7.
Thank you, President @BarackObama, for your kind words. I am deeply honored to have your support in this race to be Wisconsin’s next Governor.

Steve Doyle, featured in the amazing ad below, has been a quiet hero in Wisconsin— his tireless work to win a Trump-won seat is basically the reason the GOP didn’t get supermajorities that could override the Governor’s veto.
Only a sampling of his legendary feats includes:
1. Among all state legislators nationally, he’s in the top 5% of over-performers.
2. There were more votes cast in his race for Assembly in 2022 than in the Governor’s race in his district.
3. The GOP once tried to override the Governor’s veto to force through a new mapmaking process because they thought Steve was absent. He was indeed stricken with COVID, but he was secretly quarantined in his office and magically appeared to the audible groans of Republicans to stop the override.
#WIPol: "I'm gonna cut taxes, lower healthcare costs, and hold Big Tech accountable. Please don't fall for emotional appeals. Oh, and this is my baby alpaca, Pasta. She hopes you'll vote for me!"
Steve Doyle is up with a new WI AD-94 ad with his incredibly cute baby alpaca.

Regardless of who you're supporting: if you want to pass a state law that allows municipalities to start processing absentee ballots early, commit to doing everything you can to ensure a Democratic trifecta this November

Worth noting: The fraud that the person in the photograph committed was uncovered not by DOGE, not by Wisconsin's Republican-controlled legislature, but through a multi-year investigative reporting effort from @MSpicuzzaMJS, @cspivak and others at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Thank you @JasonCalvi for sharing what might be the quote of the night on the whole matter!
TURDUCKEN:
“This proposal is a turducken, because it is a turkey, that was put together by a bunch of lame ducks by a Republican legislature that is too chicken to confront the structural affordability…” says @RepAndraca during Wisconsin tax rebate/school funding debate.

Wisconsin Assembly Democrats tried to take steps to pull a bill out of committee today that would expand postpartum Medicaid coverage for a year after a child is born, but Republicans blocked it.
The bill has bipartisan support, but Assembly Speaker @repvos opposes it

Republican budget cuts are going to close two facilities that help veterans experiencing homelessness get back into permanent housing.
Democrats have a bill to keep them open. Republicans have refused to even hold a hearing on the bill. Without funding, they'll close Sept. 30.

Back to school should never mean back to school shootings. This is the devastating reality of America’s gun violence crisis—and it will not end until lawmakers take meaningful action.
Text READY to 644-33 to join us in demanding they do just that.

People should never fear for their lives because of their service to their community. I grieve with our Minnesota colleagues over the loss of Speaker Emerita Hortman and her husband, and wish Senator Hoffman and his wife strength and a full recovery.

Earlier this morning, we spoke on the importance of equipping Wisconsinites with resources to withstand the chaos and uncertainty coming from Trump. We will continue to fight for a budget that invests in working families and addresses cost of living challenges for everyone in WI.
