Peter Barca was the last Democrat to hold Wisconsin's 1st Congressional District seat, from 1993 to 1995, and he lost a comeback attempt against Steil in 2024. He said Berman may still succeed despite being outspent. “When the wave’s big enough, that will save you,” Barca said.

Last week I was told by Tiffany's team that I wouldn't be let into events if I wasn't a fair reporter. Earlier this week, Tiffany said all reporters would be let into his events, even me, when he was asked about Trump's ban on TV stations. Now they're blocking my colleague.
