I did the exact same thing to prove it took over 4 seconds. I honestly think the ball hit the ground at 3.82 sec. Even rewatching your video several times, it bounces before your stopwatch hit 4 seconds. The ball has already bounced in this freeze frame.
But hey I’ll take it!!

Words are pesky for someone with a predetermined answer that absolutely needs to hold up so their entire faith system doesn’t collapse.
The NRSV makes it even clearer:
v.29 — signs = he is near.
v.30 — signs and his return will all happen in this generation
Pretty damn simple.

Paul’s “thief” = exact day/hour, not era.
How is Mark 13:30 about the temple?
4 separate time-bounded sayings:
1. before some present die (Mark 9:1)
2. before this generation passes (13:30)
3. before you finish the towns of Israel (Matt 10:23)
4. Caiaphas will see it (14:62)

Why should I care what John 21, D&C 7, Keener, Viljoen or Chrysostom say? Every one of those examples is fraught with problems, & are only given as motivated post hoc rescue devices for Jesus’s failed prophecy.
That’s why mainstream scholarship overwhelmingly agrees with Dan.

Yeah except it doesn’t say exactly that, does it?
You left out the part about not tasting death before he comes in his kingdom — clear reference to Daniel 7 prophecy.
Why would Jesus reference death for an event happening 6 days later?
Transfiguration ≠ coming in his kingdom.

This guy has a thing for the antichrist and mark of the beast. He’s a big fan.
