The world is looking away from a modern-day slaughter, and the silence is deafening.
โWhile the cameras capture headlines elsewhere, thousands of innocent believers are being systematically hunted, slaughtered, and erased. In Nigeria, entire villages are reduced to ashes overnight. Children and families are dragged into the shadows, held hostage, their cries swallowed by an indifferent world.
โWhere is the outrage? Where are the trending tags for them?
โReverend Ezekiel Dachomo stood in the public square, raised his voice against the slaughter of his people, and days later walked back into the graveyard to bury his own church members and family. That is the reality of the persecuted church right now: preach on Sunday, bury your flock by Tuesday.
โThey have faced the blade, but they will not surrender their faith. Do not let their blood be spilled in total obscurity.

On this eve of Rosh Hashanah, the holiday sounds and traditions carry a different weight. They say the broken notes of the shofar are meant to match the sound of our weeping when we lose someone we love.
