@NFL @Commanders Hear from my great uncle John Two Guns White Calf🪶 excerpt from an interview that was held in Glacier National Park. I support my heritage & culture. That my great uncle Two Guns comes from a family of great Chieftainships…the White Calf family who has traveled to Washington D.C. starting with Chief White Calf, 1887 was one of his travels to our nation’s capital to Two Guns, Chief Earl Old Person Sr. and finally to my mother Delphine White Calf & my brother’s who made the trip this year 2026. There are only five of us that carry the family name but we have our Wolftail & Cross Guns family. Most of all we have met so many people, and the fan’s through our social media and personally who want to learn more of my great uncle and our family’s story.

Great article by Kerry J. Byrne. Smithsonian Institution senior linguist Ives Goddard researched the origins of the REDSKINS name and concluded, in summary, that “the actual origin of the word is entirely benign.”
Goddard found that “redskin” did not originate in English or another European language. Rather, the English term derived from Native American expressions combining the color red with words for flesh, skin, and man.
Those who pushed the narrative that the name was inherently racist failed to do the historical research, and much of the media repeated that narrative without adequately examining the history.
The result? An important Native American figurehead and his legacy were canceled in the process.
