This fanbase has been through it all. The losing seasons, the name changes, the Congressional inquiries, the constant ups and downs, and now quite possibly the most embarrassing ending to a game we’ve ever witnessed.
I feel for my brothers and sisters in the Burgundy and Gold. We’ve endured so much over the years, and just when it feels like we’ve finally turned the corner, a game like Sunday reminds us how difficult this journey has been.
🎙️ More on the latest @DMVMessHall: SELF DESTRUCTION.

Listening to the Commanders radio feed, and London Fletcher and Logan Paulsen pointed out that on the 3rd-and-8 sack, Jayden had mostly longer-developing routes with few intermediate options.
The growing pains of a first-time offensive play caller are beyond frustrating.

The NFC East went an impressive 0-3 on Sunday. That means Washington will be no worse than two games out of first place with 12 weeks (11 games) remaining, and one out with a win. Not a bad place to be when still figuring things out.
IT’S MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL! 🏈🔥
The #Commanders have a BIG test tonight against the undefeated 49ers, but what better stage to make a statement?!
Dan Quinn is 6-3 as a head coach on MNF, and tonight he has a chance to add another W!
Time to put the past behind us, show up for FOUR quarters, and give this fan base something to celebrate!
WHO’S READY?! 🔥

Always appreciate @TonyPInDC and @chris_fox5dc from #Fox5DC for having me on Live Zone Primetime. It's always fun catching up with these guys and talking some Washington football.
We discussed whether there was ANYTHING positive to take away from that Giants game (I'm still shaking my head over that one) and what the Commanders need to do to have a fighting chance against the undefeated 49ers on Monday night.
It's not going to be easy, but I've watched enough Washington football over the years to know you can't count anyone out before the game is played. The Commanders have a chance to change the conversation tonight. Now it's up to them to give us something worth talking about! 🏈

Monday night will be only the second time Kyle Shanahan and Dan Quinn have faced each other as head coaches.
Here's what Shanahan said about Quinn earlier this week:
