The root causes of the vast majority of socio-economic and political issues are: disconnection and inequality. It’s wrongheaded and dangerous to separate these root causes. They must be addressed in tandem. As Audre Lorde thought us: “Without community, there is no liberation”.

I’m bored with this spike in conversation about deconstruction. Mainstream Christianity and media orgs (e.g. CT, Relevant, GC) are 4-5 years behind. They are essentially pulling a fire alarm for a building that’s been burning that many left when they smelled smoke.
