The hideous Braverman is now on a campaign against the brave @RNLI, even telling ports not to let them land. Volunteers and staff now being targeted and tyres slashed. Here she was as Home Secretary, next to an equally shabby charlatan. Reform are appalling. Please donate to RNLI

The Poole Old Lifeboat Museum has been forced to close after volunteers were verbally abused.
In a Facebook post, they said, ‘Due to the ongoing protests in Poole it is with regret that we have to close the Museum until the protests cease.’
‘This is following several incidents of protesters verbally assaulting our volunteers in and around the Museum. Hopefully we will reopen as soon as possible.’
This is utterly dreadful, and again it will hit the RNLI financially as proceeds from the museum are reinvested into the organisation.

In 1981 eight unimaginably brave souls put to sea in murderous conditions because a call went out. They sought neither reward nor praise. They were @RNLI and they were the best of their community. Support your local lifeboat

Can you imagine heading out into these seas, with 113 mph winds, to help two Spanish trawlers in trouble?

We're proud of the lifesaving work our volunteers do in the Channel – we make no apology for it. Those we rescue are vulnerable people in danger & distress. Each of them is someone’s father, mother, son or daughter - every life is precious. This is why we launch:

Since its foundation in 1824 the bravery of Royal National Lifeboat Institution volunteers has saved more than 146,700 lives at sea.
Hundreds of those volunteers have died attempting to save others. They are the best of us.
Any person or organisation questioning their actions or loyalty to this country should be corrected and ostracised.
Anyone can drown, but no one should.
