Based on a question on r/chartyapp, I’ve decided to build a habit tracker using only Shortcuts, Charty’s scatter plots and @datajarapp.

Data Jar 1.1 have been submitted for review. The update brings a slightly refreshed design, stability improvements to the Shortcuts actions and fixes some issues when running the app on iOS 15.

for over a month now, i’ve been using a custom iOS Shortcut i wrote to track my migraines in @datajarapp.
(“severe” = migraine pain did not respond to acetaminophen/paracetamol + aspirin + caffeine, requiring that i take one of my precious $100/tablet Ubrelvy doses to reduce it)

update i added a Shortcut using @datajarapp for logging when i take migraine meds, along with a check and prompt to log the current day as a migraine day if it hasn’t been already (because some days are just tension headache days, not migraine days)

Loving the versatility that apps like @ToolboxProApp @chartyios @datajarapp bring to Shortcuts on iOS. Made a couple of shortcuts to log my oxygen saturation and then display a chart in a widget. (Just wish Apple would put the Health app on iPadOS.)

My side project for the weekend is to make an iOS shortcut which pulls recipe & ingredient data from @datajarapp, allows me to select what I plan to cook this week (split into mains, sides, sauces) and how many of each, and then create a shopping list in Things 3
