It’s not an opinion, however I’m quite happy to let time prove me right - and I will bookmark this conversation so I can remind you of that in the future.

One of my roughest memories is my gym buddy venting to me about his wife. He said that him and his wife hadn't had sex in 5 years. I asked if she ever goes anywhere for days. He said yeah, her cousins house every weekend. I asked him if she's celibate. He said no. I just paused and stared at him. Watching him do the math and have the realization was rough. I watched the light leave his eyes in real time.

You do if you have to remove it to check properly. Your analogy is crap as if your car is not working - you take it to the garage.

It is also quicker to change an engine out if another one is available rather than take the time to try and figure out what the issues might be - operators do it all the time.

Unsubstantiated memes are not evidence particularly when obviously wrong. Where did I talk Scotland down? - only presented verifiable facts. Like it or not England sell more than 10x Scotland but the important point is where revenues can be derived from.

A thread on bad journalism. I did not vote Tory and don't like Boris. But yesterday's Sunday Times piece slating the UK government's COVID-19 strategy was appalling and here's why.👇 thetimes.co.uk/past-six-days…

Means there are 115 worse - so not one of the worst as you claimed - simples.

The Scottish Governments own official figures contradict everything you have just said - Scotland is credited with the full geographical tax revenues received from oil - where is your evidence for this?

Pensions, social spending, defence, foreign aid, debt interest etc are all missing from that table. Clearly the work of an intelligence challenged individual and says a lot about who would share it.

In what way does the account look dodgy? I'm being perfectly civil and backing up my comments with evidence.

Sorry - should have said background. Was born on Islay and lived briefly in Port Ellen - still related to half the village.
