BBC just claimed this is Norway’s first World Cup finals goal since Rekdal scored against Brazil in 1998.
This is of course incorrect, their last World Cup goal was Guro Reiten against Japan in 2023.

Spoke to some senior NDP sources:
They say Sarah Jama being removed was about her unwillingness to toe party line and work together with leader Marit Stiles. Stiles and her made an agreement, which they feel she reneged on. They contend she wasn’t removed cause of Israel-Palestine stance, but in some ways, that isn’t accurate because she was using more charged language than what the party had approved. That was not appreciated and did ultimately factor into her removal.
