Lots of tweets from PhDs unable to get postdoc jobs. Advice for those in process of choosing a PhD:
1. Publications are the only currency in academia.
2. Ask prospective supervisors to provide links to papers published by past PhD students.
3. Avoid those that can’t or won’t.
In absolute pieces watching this. I’m very grateful for the people who have been there and just listened to me over the years when things have been tough.
