tldr: potentially CRISPR for neural networks.
turns out neural nets might already be much more interpretable than we thought. you can identify specific neurons and circuits, understand what they do, and potentially intervene on them.
interpretability might be the most important scientific problem in the world right now, as I don't think we can solve alignment if we don't know what we're building. I think I have good news about it. I co-authored early work in mechanistic interpretability at OpenAI and came away pessimistic, because neural networks appeared to fold into arbitrary tangled knots. years later, I started openai's first large-scale automated interpretability project, finding about 2% of neurons legible with the primitive tools we had
with modern agentic tools and a much closer look, the picture looks totally different. the vast majority in models up to trillions of parameters are legible, and their circuits beautiful. many famous examples of tangled neurons turned out to be misunderstood. The roadblocks I expected mostly aren't there. I now think ambitious interpretability will be solved by the time we need it most, and possibly quite soon, as automated scientists keep improving. it may be a bitter lesson for interpretability: the simple thing, at absurd scale, works

what vibe coding a crm for a business actually looks like, and the reason why we are building proto and erp ai

SingaporeConnected via United States App StoreAccount-level information, not a live location or per-post device.
For 25 years, Salesforce, SAP and enterprise software were built around one assumption: humans operate the software.
We’re changing that.
Introducing ERP•AI and Proto: business software built for agents, and an agent that operates business software.
Describe the system you need. ERP•AI builds it.
Then Proto takes over. It manages records, runs workflows and executes actions inside the software you just created.
This is Headless SaaS.
1: get ERP•AI
2: build your SaaS
3: post below
Best one wins a MacBook. First 100 decent entries get $100.

RT @vishprometa: headless doesn’t mean giving up your ui. my response to @harrystebbings: xitter.cf/HarryStebbings/status/…

little late to the jev party. but made an extension to fix my adhd and stop doomscrolling with jev.
give it a description of what kind of content do you want to see and it classifies as skip or for you works for both X and youtube.

once again for those like me that need a 3b1b type video to understand what navier stokes and what the researchers here have done
We’re sharing a solution to the Navier-Stokes Millennium Prize Problem, one of the deepest problems at the frontier of mathematics.
The proof was produced by a group of agents, using an OpenAI next-generation model significantly more capable than GPT-6 Astra.
The problem concerns whether the description of smooth three-dimensional fluid motion modeled by the Navier-Stokes equations can break down. It has remained unresolved for roughly 90 years.
i shipped 0.1.0 and then found the setup window telling people claude wasn't installed, thirty seconds after they'd run claude in a terminal.
an app opened from the dock inherits launchd's environment, not a shell's. launchd's PATH is /usr/bin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin. every place these tools install is missing from it.
0.1.1 asks the login shell once and caches it, and registers claude by writing its config file directly so it doesn't need to find the binary at all.
September started, so I'm looking back at how August ended.
Last month I shipped 274lab. In less than a month:
• 114 users
• 8 sales
Reqit kept growing too:
• 560+ downloads
• 64 GitHub stars
And I shipped DLQ Inspector, my CLI for inspecting and recovering failed messages:
• 19 downloads so far
Three projects. Real users. Real downloads. Real feedback.
Still a lot to improve, but I'm proud of what I shipped in one month.
Now let's see what September brings. 🚀

Anthropic engineer:
"You're not supposed to prompt Claude. You're supposed to build a system that prompts itself."
In 45 minutes she shows exactly how Anthropic builds agents that remember, fix their own mistakes and get smarter with every run.
This beats any paid course on agents I've seen.
Watch it, then read the guide on building loops below.
