We at @fennelapp want to highlight how companies who have huge impacts on the enviro and society make decisions "behind closed doors" & motivate retail investors to take an active role in shaping the decisions of companies they invest in through voting.
I love this video from @fennelapp - individual investors generally don't vote, but in many companies they can have enormous influence. If you care about how the companies whose shares you hold operate, you should make your voice heard.

Yesterday at #SOCAP22 I learned about zebras 🦓 .
Unlike unicorns🦄, zebras are #entrepreneurial ventures that balance both #profit and #impact. Here's to hoping every future startup is a zebra.
#SOCAP22 opened up with a fiery debate titled “Is #ESG Worth Saving?”
I heard interesting points from @andrewbehar (@AsYouSow), Shu Dar Yao (@ Lucid Capitalism), among others.
Ultimately, the crowd did think #ESG was worth saving. But if ESG is to continue, it'll need to embrace its shortcomings to become stronger.
