Hard agree. Berating journalists when you lose is mind boggling - and self defeating. It only makes them work harder.
I’ve worked with some fantastic journalists in my 29 years on the job. My pride at @Gabriel_Pogrund knows no bounds for example. But what @RosamundUrwin had to go through to get the Brand allegations past the lawyers and over the line is of a different order from anything I’ve ever achieved in this job. She is brave, principled, a great reporter, a beautiful writer and a gutsy human being. I am frankly proud to know her let alone call her a friend. The KC who lost his rag earlier should rot in hell

If there's one thing that might explain Russell Brand, it's this. Awful for everyone
“I hate myself, Dad. I hate being alive” The rage formed in the space where love should have been has taken victim after victim, as these wounded boys try to assemble their manhood from the scraps of their fathers’ inadequacies.

Trump's gift and his curse is that the only thing that can undo him is himself
Dave Smith: Trump pulled off the greatest political comeback in American history... and squandered the entire thing for a war on behalf of a foreign country That's it. That's the whole second term. The biggest political realignment thrown in the trash for a pedophile cover-up and a neocon war.

People really, really, really don't like data centres
So the 41 datacenter moratoria across the country are, I predict, going to go 41-0. In nearly every case it's about 67-80% opposing datacenters. True in California, Ohio, everywhere. Read all the results here: dashboard-production-c2fc.up…

Would be popular
Democrats shouldn’t demand Trump staffers be investigated. They should pass a huge anti-corruption package: no free planes, no shakedowns for presidential libraries, no no-bid contracts for friends, no paid-for pardons, no foreign gifts, no family on payroll, no insider trading, etc.

Did they hire the SNL writers for this?
If Mississippi does flip blue for first time since 1982, it will be no small part due to this masterpiece of an election ad.

Brutal response from a first time Democrat voter in Texas, from the NYT

'I have no interest in fighting culture wars': this is a large part of why she won
This contentious interchange between the NY Times and @GinaHinojosaTX was truly amazing. Hinojosa offered one of the best explanations of populism I've ever seen. Her comments were a total rejection of Corporate Dems' neoliberal formula. Her Texas victory is a game changer.
