tools-wise i'm finding myself 'designing' more and more in code recently still using figma on the daily, but now far more as a tool to document my original bets/thinking behind a certain set of ideas before kicking things off and then iterating back round [this process assumes you've put in the work to set up the foundations of a sturdy design system, tokens etc]

it just 'feels right'. probably one of the greatest compliments a designer can receive imo makes it all worth it, even if you gotta stack unreasonable levels of care to get there
