I often struggle with the idea that Start ups need branding. A lot of startups are still finding product market fit. Still figuring out what they are, who they serve e.t.c Tagging that uncertainty with conclusive identifiers often feels premature. Until I realized that sometimes, the point in this context, is to create aspiration. Something that reminds you of where you're going. Something to "grow" into.
