As a free-to-play mobile game with a heavy IP tie-in, Marvel Snap should have been total garbage, but instead it's one of the most inventive trading card games I've played in years. Continually surprising, well crafted, and fun to play.

What feels wild is Netflix didn't have to approach this in a way that is hostile to customers. You can just charge people to let them do what they wanna do. They could've released a "Friends and Family" upgrade for an extra $2-3 dollars.
