what data was this model trained on? what does it compete with?
We found DeepSeek V4.1 Flash 1017 beats GPT 6 Sol on our multi-step offensive cybersecurity task. Sol was tested via the Daybreak trusted access program. We have been building a cybersecurity benchmark based on simulated corporate networks. This is a valuable indicator for the cyber-risk a model poses if in the hands of a bad actor. We plan to make the full evaluation public in the coming weeks but wanted to share our first immediate finding here.

Almost half of all sole traders want HMRC's Making Tax Digital programme to be ditched, a Centre for Policy Studies survey has revealed. 44% want it scrapped entirely while 14% are prepared for it to go ahead with changes and a minuscule 10% are happy for it to proceed as planned. The Government and HMRC have totally failed to gain the confidence of the self-employed. Forcing the self-employed to file five tax returns each year is an obvious idiocy and it is no wonder that they are upset. 1/2

🌐 Is your data really under your control—or just stored somewhere else? As businesses scale with AI and cloud, data sovereignty is becoming a strategic priority. And edge computing is part of the answer. rt @LindaGrass0.

So it’s interesting because these are very smart people who have built a very powerful technology but they’re also oblivious about the economy and policymaking, so it makes you wonder how their blind spots will impact their predictions about the future.

For decades, innovation in engineering has meant simply selling software to engineers. Solvera is going one step further by rebuilding the firm itself. Today, we're thrilled to lead their $6.3M pre-seed round.

If enterprise architecture makes you think of buildings, think again because it maps how business and technology fit together. EA shows the connections across the organization, so decisions are made with the whole system in mind, not one piece at a time. Microblog @antgrasso Digital transformation can improve how an organization works, but it also makes business and technology more dependent on each other. Enterprise architecture makes those dependencies visible before changes are made. Suppose a company wants to introduce same-day delivery. The business process may need to change. The order application may need new functions. Inventory data has to be available at the right moment, and the infrastructure must support the workload. That one business decision now touches process, application, data and infrastructure. Change one part and another may be affected. Replacing an application or moving a workload to the cloud can have the same effect. The technology decision sits inside a business system. Enterprise architecture gives you the map of that system, so you can see what depends on what before you change it. #EnterpriseArchitecture #DigitalTransformation

The biggest opportunity in robotics isn’t necessarily building smarter robots, but building smarter environments. The future of physical AI depends just as much on what robots know about the world around them as what they’re capable of doing in it. The infrastructure connecting robots, people, and places may ultimately be more valuable than the intelligence or hardware of any individual machine.
Nils Pihl (@broodsugar) is keynoting the Humanoid Hub Conference. The web made information addressable. Nothing has done that for physical space. His keynote is about the missing layer: shared context that lets robots, AI and people reason about the same world.

The company is seeking a primary listing on the NYSE under the ticker OPAY and has secured board and shareholder approval to pursue a secondary listing on the Nigerian Exchange after the US listing. @OPay_NG says it plans to use the proceeds from the IPO for general corporate purposes, including investments in technology, distribution, new products, market expansion, and potential acquisitions or strategic investments. However, the filing also outlines the risks behind the growth, including regulatory exposure, cybersecurity threats, foreign exchange fluctuations, and the company’s dependence on Nigeria for most of its revenue.
