Hey @SouthwestAir » me and a crew grounded in Eugene, OR for the past 3 days! They have been awesome to hang out with & hope to see them on another flight in the future. – at Eugene, OR
So thankful for your sabbatical @etobias_musiced :-) Learning some basic SQL query language today youtu.be/buOxN65U0qE?si=YXMm…
Dataview plugin @obsdmd » awesomeness!
really awesome broadcast w @EddieTrunk and the #VanHalen tribute band on #Sirius right now @GregRenoff @CjRapoport » interesting stories they’re sharing w us!
Interesting » @GregRenoff @CjRapoport this was an interesting read (was into some #Yes90125 this evening) and came across this, idk... remix by #EVH vhnd.com/2023/10/05/why-yess…
Hey @Komaniecki_R » ancestral roots for those #TikTok multi-musical, a cappella shorts you find for us 😂
This is a fantastic conversation with #Rush #AlexLifeson » thank you @ChrisShiflett71 youtu.be/zEJuuKELzko
Such an honest & introspective reflection about musical/guitarist influences in his style and playing. I have so many follow up questions! @CjRapoport @GregRenoff
I thought you might find this interesting @jas_obrecht » of course, you might have already interviewed Alex at some point...
Am so appreciative @jas_obrecht that you're making these tapes available for us to listen to » thank you! It's a treat to hear #EVH in his voice & inflections speak candidly in these early years about ... "a wide array of subjects!"
I learn so much more revisiting these articles
Happy Birthday, #eddievanhalen! In this first hour of our marathon 1980 interview. Eddie plays *a lot* of guitar on his unamplified Frankenstrat and speaks candidly about a wide array of subjects. #talkingguitar #edwardvanhalen #vanhalen youtube.com/watch?v=1oQW-duS…
What a treat to hear #EVH in his own words & voice at a pivotal point in his life and journey @CjRapoport @NerdHalen @GregRenoff #VanHalen #EddieVanHalen vhnd.com/2022/12/17/rock-jou…
another great episode » open.substack.com/pub/jasobr…
Have been looking for #VanHalen material from Michael Anthony's perspective.
at 21:55: "ed turned me onto a group called Brand X..." I love these little moments when we come across a musical influence on #EddieVanHalen
Congratulations to the @CMEA_CalMusicEd presenters sharing at the @NAfME #NAfME2022 conference!

Am gonna admit » this is awesome; this is a tad difficult to watch... #TaylorHawkins was a ginormous #VanHalen fan, so I get it. If it's complex for me, I imagine it's 100x so for #wolfgangvanhalen #taylorhawkinstribute #EVH
I remember #EVH mentioning he was aware of others using RH tapping technique (often credits seeing #jimmypage use LH for hammer-ons; why not try w RH)
@GregRenoff @CjRapoport » Did Ed ever mention seeing/hearing Camardese? 1st few seconds are amazingly similar to Mean St intro
Can you imagine @CjRapoport @GregRenoff the conversations between #EVH & #vitobratta racing around the valley or playing a little 1:1 basketball between sessions?

I have always thought a Michael Anthony perspective could be one of the most interesting #VanHalen narratives @GregRenoff @NerdHalen
