Roblox support is genuinely getting out of hand.
One of my emotes, with 300,000 sales that has been up for sale since August of 2025 when emotes first came out, has been wrongfully taken down.
9 days ago, it was taken down for "Spam", and my appeal through Help & Safety was accepted. The item was never reinstated to the website, so I then contacted support like normal for asset appeals.
Over the course of 9 days, I have been going in a loop with Roblox support after they had claimed on three separate occasions that my appeal was accepted, and I can expect the item to be reinstated after 3 days. After 3 days, the item still was not back up so I replied again for further updates.
Yesterday, I got an update saying they can no longer accept my appeal (that had already been accepted three times), because my emote depicted "Terrorism" and "Violent Extremism". This is a completely different reason from their original takedown for "Spam". There are still copies of my emote up now, profiting off of my content, so clearly it is not an issue stemming from the asset itself, otherwise they all would have been taken down. I cannot even DMCA because my own asset is moderated.
Roblox support has genuinely gotten so ridiculous and has made it nearly impossible for real creators to appeal mistakes that Roblox has made. I don't even know what to do from here, and it significantly impacts my revenue.

lmfao roblox moderation/support is at it again:
- an emote of mine gets deleted for "spam"
- i appeal, explaining that the animation itself was stolen by other actors and that I indeed made the animation in 2023
- appeal gets accepted
- few months later I notice that the emote hasn't actually been reinstated
- i ask support
- they tell me "sorry can't help" then after prying more they say "sorry it don't pass validation"
- i object
- "sorry can't help"
- ????
I posted and appealed this emote eons before the valdiation changes, and even then the emote is genuinely not even bad, it should clearly pass validation 😭

‼️‼️ This is happening way too often lately. One of my modellers too @414ly_, was recently permanently banned for ''off-platform Robux trading'' after receiving legitimate Robux payments for UGC commission work, and the only ''big'' purchase she made was a 25k Robux gamepass to pay someone else for a commission, so even that was still just dev work.
She has proof of everything, the work, transactions, chats, and files for each commission, but when she contacted support, she just received an automated response with no chance to appeal again.
She’s lost access to the Robux she legitimately earned from work for me and other UGC groups.
Developers should not have to fear losing their accounts, earnings, and years of work simply for paying or being paid for legitimate dev work. This is genuinely threatening the roblox dev ecosystem.

Roblox has now PERMANENTLY TERMINATED my account over alleged off-platform Robux trading.
My account held MILLIONS of Robux and years of development work. It’s now all at risk.
To the best of my knowledge, I have never knowingly participated in unauthorized Robux trading.
My appeal was rejected, despite Roblox providing ZERO details about the activity that supposedly caused this.
Multiple developers I know were also warned/banned around the same time. Please @robloxdevrel, I desperately need someone to look into this.

tiny rant but i really hope roblox releases something about an increase in devex / increase revenue cut from ugc sales this year at RDC (really hope for both)
devex rate was like 0.0035 as of 2017, and only got the price jump to 0.0038 in september of last year
i'm pretty sure the correct math that devex rate would have to be between 0.0049-0.005 to match the inflation over the past few years, which i know sounds kind of unreasonable
i would be satisfied even with like a 0.0042 rate and allowing creators to get 50% revenue share
