S&P 1500 Software revenue per employee has gone parabolic. If you are looking for evidence that AI is starting to impact the real economy, this is exhibit A.

Huge and growing market A "1 of 1" team Breakthrough technology Incredible speed iterating and executing ...and now shipping! 🤯 Wow. Just wow. Congrats, team @Etched!
We've raised $700M at a $21B valuation from Jane Street, Kleiner Perkins, Sequoia, A16Z, Peter Thiel, BCV, and Blackstone. We're also excited to share that we've shipped our first rack to Jane Street.

The ambition was always palpable with this one and it’s amazing to now witness something that is truly bar raising. Huge kudos for the incredible amount of work that went into reaching this point, team @Etched!
We're coming out of stealth. We've built our first racks after a successful A0 tapeout, $1B+ in customer contracts, and $800m raised. Early customer tests show us achieving SOTA throughput, latency, and power efficiency on inference workloads. Our first racks ship this summer.

Love this video but the crowd pop was even more pronounced in-person. From the quietest to loudest moment of the night in the span of 2 seconds. Incredible moment to see live. 〽️
The Trey McKenney dagger. The crowd pop at Lucas Oil Stadium. Here’s the shot that won Michigan men’s basketball the national championship:

Detroiters care deeply about reindustrialization, and it’s inspiring to see that movement spread thanks to the team at @reindsummit

Can't tell you how many people I host in our Detroit office (about 1/5 mile east of where @jason took this photo) that are truly blown away when they look out our windows & see how *close* Canada is. For us Detroiters, US-Canada relations feel...intimate.
Wait, you can swim to Canada from Detroit?!

If you were on X this past week or two, your timeline was flooded with Ghiblified photos. And if you haven’t been under a rock, you’re probably vibe-coding games or still trying to wrap your head around MCP. But for ME, this whole timeline feels like a FEVER DREAM—because for the past 6 months, we’ve quietly been building an AI-native game that’s already found real traction and aligns exactly with where culture and tech are headed. Sorry, not sorry—here comes a thread 👇👇👇

A few simple tax changes I can get behind: * Increase HSA family contribution cap from $8,550 to $12,500 (better yet, do something about health care costs) * Increase 401k contribution limit from $23,500 to $35,000 * Increase teacher tax deduction from $300 (LOL) to $2,000

Fun conversation -- I always love hearing the behind the scenes stories of the early days (and all the twists and turns along the way) @Life360
.@ChrisHulls might be the only CEO to take the same company public in two different countries Really fun convo on US vs Australian IPOs, plus fundraising in unsexy markets, competing against Sam Altman, advertising and hardware businesses, and almost getting cancelled on TikTok

22 years ago, I was fortunate enough to attend the University of Michigan on a Rogel Award of Excellence scholarship due to Richard and Susan's exceptional generosity. It's amazing and inspiring to see their continued giving to make important advances in key fields.
With a $50M gift to revolutionize pancreatic cancer care and research at University of Michigan Health Rogel Cancer Center, the new Rogel and Blondy Center for Pancreatic Cancer will bring together researchers and clinicians to drive forward new treatments and improve outcomes for this challenging cancer. 🔗 michmed.org/DnRx9

It's stunning how much $$$ and attention flows into swing states. There's a major event within 30 mins of my house 3-5 days/week. Constant texts, calls, etc. Both campaigns' entire budgets ride on a few 10s of thousands of people in a half dozen states. A bit overkill.

Sad to see. I have fond(ish) memories of working in the photo department at Walgreens in high school. Disposable cameras were about 75% of our business, and I can still vividly remember the procedure for disassembling them and processing the film.

Sorry for delayed responses - I was slammed in a meeting* all afternoon yesterday with a key leader** *The "meeting" was actually a Tigers playoff game **The "leader" was an 8yo baseball fan I took out of school early to see the Tiger's first playoff game in 10 yrs

The heart of Detroit currently shows through in two teams--the Lions and Tigers--that are the most FUN to watch and root for (at least a little, regardless of where you're from or who your home team is).

Thinking about @newindustrials #Reindustrialization at an event set with the backdrop of the Ambassador Bridge in the foreground (25% of US trade with Canada!) and the new Gordie Howe bridge in the background (that was connected just 2 weeks ago!). U-S-A (& Canada)!

If one IPO is cool, what does that make *two* IPOs? Congrats to the @Life360 team on this incredible milestone, and for a bright future ahead on the @NasdaqExchange! $LIF

I moved here 22 years ago; not long enough to have a personal connection to city's full history (both good & challenging) but long enough to have a clear appreciation for the things that make the city so great: the people and the spirit of what it means to be a Detroiter. (1/2)

That unshakeable foundation--coupled with real progress that we get to see & feel every day (yes, each day is better than one before)--makes Detroit a city that I would never bet against. I'm excited for the future and look forward to celebrating this milestone tomorrow. (2/2)
