60 years ago today, Frank Walker entered his homemade jetpack into a Science Fair Competition at the New York World's Fair.
While he didn't walk out of the Hall of Invention with the $50 prize, his ambition earned him a life-changing pin-vitation.

This piece of Port Olisar was found during the "Cargo Crisis" race of the @atmoesports System 7 series by the following racers:
🏁 J-Script
🏁 CaptainChaos_QC
🏁 Axwart Jenkins
Who generously recreated the part and donated it to our studio in Montreal ❤️

Tomorrowland was released in theaters 9 years ago today!
To celebrate, @nickytea talked with legendary graphic designer @csdesign72 about his work on the film’s iconic pin and the secretive 1952 box. Available now, wherever you listen to podcasts:

I haven't made it to @MSGSphere in Las Vegas yet, but I was able to find my credit for #PostcardFromEarth among the 1999 other filmmakers. Equal billing!
Thank you Louie! I enjoyed reading our origin story and glad we finally found a project to collaborate on.
Last year, I helped create written languages and fonts (New Imperium, Veldt, Providence, and Ahriq) for @ZackSnyder’s film, @rebelmoon.
♡ Thank you @csdesign72, @DANGER_HAVOK, Adam Forman, @C_Schreyer, and @AurekFonts. ♡

Today #RebelMoon Part 1 is streaming exclusively on @netflix. Had the chance to see it earlier this week and there's a lot of hard work from our entire crew on the screen. Nothing like some Zack Snyder action and SciFi to get you in the Holiday Spirit. Hope you enjoy it!

Formulating thoughts about such a dark day in Bay Area sports history took awhile - my heart breaks for the fans and the longtime employees, those who’ve spent most or all of their careers with Oakland. They deserve so much better. I’m devastated for them and the lovely fan base.
Just so everyone outside the entertainment industry is aware of the hardships the WGA & SAG strikes caused for artists and industry professionals, I typically work about 220 union days per year. This year I've worked 9. Congrats on your contracts, now lets get back to work!💪
Anyone still here for the occasional #Tomorrowland content, I FINALLY acquired an @ILMVFX pin from 2014. This is one of the very few "variations" that I was missing.
My high school watercolor tribute to the greatest linebacker of all-time! Not my only reason for being a Texas born @chicagobears fan, but definitely one of the most important. Godspeed @thedickbutkus

After 146 Days, white smoke is finally emitting from the Sherman Oaks Galleria signifying that the AMPTP and WGA have reached a tentative agreement!
The gifts were from me & my @houseindustries collection. I've worked closely with Andy Cruz and the late Rich Roat for years. Their typefaces appear in almost every film I've worked on. Visit my website if you want to see them in action Studio72inc.com
Thanks to a gift from one of our members, the ADG Archives is home to a cache of 25 stylish catalogs and brochures from House Industries, the type foundry and design studio that launched in 1993.

In case you don't know anyone that you can relate to in this situation, I am one of the many artists that are making an early withdrawal. That is the crossroads many of us are at. However, I remain #UnionStrong. Dissolve the AMPTP!

Still should be an OAKLAND Athletic and under team control. Would have been the 3rd member of the 50th HR club joining Jimmy Foxx and Mark McGwire. Happy for Matt, sad for Oakland.

"There is precedent for studios breaking away from a negotiating pact. In 1975, Paramount and Universal both exited the Association of Motion Picture and Television Producers (an early version of AMPTP) to form their own alliance."

My condolences for you loss after many years of record profits (from all studios). How about making a FAIR deal and getting everyone back to work. Just a thought...
