It鈥檚 all about luck! However, you need to be ready when you get lucky as it rarely happens 馃槵
Imagine your Twitter feed only showed people who won the lottery. Every day you only see posts from people who won big. Within a few weeks you鈥檇 start to think winning the lottery is normal. And you'd probably start playing the lottery yourself 馃 At first you would lose of course. But then one day you鈥檇 get lucky and win your first $100. And since you鈥檙e seeing daily posts of lottery winners, you鈥檇 think 芦 this is proof the lottery is working, I just need to learn how to play it better 禄 Then you鈥檇 meet a community of full-time lottery player. Every time you have a small win, they support and boost you. "You're on the right path bro, you're gonna make it!" So you quit your job and focus 100% on the lottery. You still see posts about other people who win big everyday. And you鈥檙e sure it鈥檚 only a matter of time until it鈥檚 your turn. But the months go by, and you鈥檙e still only winning $100 here and there. But one time you win $10,000! (after spending $20,000) Its crazy! And you think you finally figured it out! But the next day you鈥檙e back to losing. Now the years go by, and you still see the daily stream of winners celebrating on your feed. But you鈥檙e still nowhere as successful as them. And you start wondering. Why am I still not winning? Is there something wrong with me? Am I stupid? But there is nothing wrong with you. You just made the mistake of believing the algorithm. The algorithm which gives 100x more visibility to the winners, and makes it seem like everybody but you is winning. But the truth is only 0.1% of people win anything significant at the lottery. Most people fail, but you will never see or hear about them, because of the algorithm. There鈥檚 nothing wrong with you, you鈥檙e just a normal person who didn鈥檛 win the lottery. Like basically 99% of people on earth. Your perception that you should鈥檝e won was just a fantasy driven by social media algorithms. This realization makes you feel sad for a while, but after a few days you feel liberated. You stop thinking there鈥檚 anything wrong with you for losing at the lottery, and you start coming back to your real life, and look for a job again. You鈥檙e just a normal person and that feels good. No need to win big, just build a good life. Once you start realizing this, you try to warn the other lottery players. You tell them about this reality, but they don鈥檛 listen. They鈥檙e too addicted themselves. So they dismiss you as a loser who gave up too quickly, and cast you away. But in reality you just woke up to the fantasy and tried to help them. Indie hacking is a cult.

Where鈥檚 Devin nowadays? Haven鈥檛 heard of this model since the day they announce it 馃槀馃槀馃槀
I鈥檝e seen a lot of people afraid of Devin and the possible disruption to the tech industry. Chill out people! If anything it will be a great tool to have, we are not going to be replaced any time soon, we will at some point but not soon! Do you think other wise? Why?

Interest rates will go down, right? right?? right??? Well, when I got a mortgage in 2024 my idea was to wait for the interest rates to go down and then refinance with a better rate. I check the rates every once and a while, but... wouldn't be nice if I just get a notification?

I've built this little app that does just that, you set the target rate and when the rates reach the target (Or is close enough) it sends you a notification. You can try it here and let me know what you think! catchtherate.com/

Anyone knows a service to file my LLC taxes with $0 income? Something cheap and simple? Turbo tax charges $500+, anything cheaper than that?

I鈥檝e heard that there are men who can go blank and think about nothing, they go in an empty box where they don鈥檛 think anything at all, I wish I had that box because my brain doesn鈥檛 stop at all! Do you have that empty box? Can you stop your thoughts for a moment?

I've been working on this player where you can read the sheet music, play it with your instrument and the AI will let you know if you played the right note! It's looking pretty good! The player can easily go back and forth to the parts you want to focus on! #buildinpublic

My latest project is built with React, but the part that deals with tensor flow is just vanilla JavaScript with events and stuff on top of react for performance reasons. Basically breaking the react way of doing things 馃槀馃槀馃槀

4. Publish 20 posts in my blog, wait 3-6 months and repeat. In the meantime, I鈥檒l focus on TikTok and IG, will create content using the posts I already have but in short videos. Maybe even YouTube, but I鈥檒l see.
