want to find new DeFi protocols before they start getting attention on CT? here’s the simple process I use with DeFiLlama: 1. open google, safari, or chrome → you can do this directly from your phone or computer. 2. search “DeFiLlama” → open the official DeFiLlama website. 3. find “recently Listed” DeFi protocols → recently listed protocols can help you discover projects that have only recently started being tracked by DeFiLlama. 4. start going through the list → don’t just look at the project name. pay attention to: → TVL → Chain → Category → TVL changes → Protocol website check their website to understand what the project actually does. is it a lending protocol? → DEX? → Yield platform? → Liquid staking? → Perpetuals? → RWA? or something completely new? 5. check their X account → look at their recent posts, community activity, announcements, and how long they’ve been building. 6. do some extra research check things like: → funding/investors → team → audits → token plans → incentives → users → ecosystem → competitors that’s basically how I use DeFiLlama to discover new DeFi protocols before they become widely discussed. I’ve been paying more attention to the meme side of crypto lately, and one thing keeps standing out: The best meme projects aren’t necessarily the ones with the funniest ticker or the best-looking website. It’s the ones that know how to capture attention. A meme can launch with a $50k market cap and go nowhere. Another can launch around the same size and suddenly have thousands of people talking about it, sharing it, buying it, and pushing the narrative across CT. What changes? Attention. Narrative. Timing. Community. Content. KOLs. And the ability to keep people interested after the initial hype. I’ve seen this play out firsthand working behind the scenes on meme projects. That’s what I’ll be paying more attention to going forward. There are still a lot of memes flying under the radar. Let’s see which ones actually know how to turn attention into momentum.
